[Debate] SAO Possibilities?

Well he makes a good point in the video. How immersed to we the players want to get in the game.? To most of us, the idea of being completely immersed in the game sounds awesome.
Being able to say shoot a fireball from a makeshift wand in your hand is awesome. But to the warrior who has to swing his makeshift sword around for 2 hours and then actually run a virtual 1.5 kilometers to cath up with his or her party members, it is extremely limited by the player's own physical abilites.
Namely if you aren't an athlete or in great physical shape your gaming experience is going to suffer greatly. Just look at the Wii workout game for example. People loved it for all about 2 months then got lazy and stopped playing it....
...because...you know...it was and actual work out XD

Well true but they had a visor that linked in to your nueral pathways. In this case, that would be awesome. But our techonlogy is not quite there just yet.

SAO is the worst anime in history. I can only imagine the closet freak you must be to enjoy that. Thus I hope it never comes to fruition.

Your opinion yo! SAO is one of the more popular Animes/Books so millions of others would disagree with you. Myself included.
You are correct and I will probably be one of the 1st to own one when this goes on the market XD
If a game is able to control our five senses, you know there will be a day when the game itself takes over your brain and applies damage on it sooner or later. If by any chance the game is bugged or infected by virtual virus, you may never get out of the game, live your lives for decades in that very game world (as shown in SAO for example, no bashing) until you die or people in reality world come and save you.
I'm not supporting it for being too real when playing. How real i want it to be is just to the extent of excellent background musics and object sounds, high quality definition of image, awesome game plotline with less loopholes and enable surface nerves-stimuli like vibration.
