I don't think he was doing it unintentionally. I think he was merely showing everyone that this is what humans are capable of doing whenever they think about peace, there is bloodshed. U_U It's kinda like conveying the message in an indirect way. That's why he wanted to pursue the goal of establishing Mugen Tsukuyomi, so that there is peace and no bloodshed even if it means the individual is in a near-death state. :eww:
