couple of reasons why this thread is a fail:

1. If Madara is a hypocrite, there are certainly bigger ones.

2. Itachi is the only known character to have committed genocide. Genocide is the extermination of an ethnic group, Einstein. Before accusing someone of committing genocide, it's a good idea to know and understand what the word means first.

I feel morally speaking you are right by saying -conveying the term peace into bloodshed is morally hypocritical- I´m paraphrasing, though by the standards of the story his notion of loss -Madara´s- has turned wide after losing all of his brothers, and then earning the despise of his won clan. Now, think about Nagato, losing literally everything but, honestly accepting his moral defeat by becoming the incarnation of human destruction.

If it were the case, as you say, Madara´s the most hypocrite character, he´d stand besides any of the other villains, Kimimaru, Orochimaru, Danzo,Nagato, Itachi,Haku, Zabuza, etc..

I don´t know hat to think for eg about Sasuke, hes killed several myst solders, tried to assassinate the kages and he´s set-up once again as the story´s alter-hero . . .
Truth is, they´re just evil without any moral justification, except I guess Itachi.

Uchiha in general are extremely hypocritical barring Itachi. Madara wasn't too bad about it.

I did find it interesting Madara said he wanted peace and was trying to help everybody, but was shouting how much he loved fighting and had no qualms about killing people off though.

He is not a hypocrite. He just doesn't give a damn about the world. If you oppose him, you are killed. If you do not get in his way and acknowledge his goal, then you are saved. He will throw the world into despair to make them surrender but he was aiming for peace in the end for the sake of the majority.
