Part 1 style of combat or this DBZ-istic stuff?

It's not a matter of time period. It's a matter of it actually existing if the author started with a cool, borderline real life premise.

We could all accept something like Katon Gokkakyu or something similar to begin with because we were introduced with it like some sort of ultimate technique in that mediocre shinobi world. Now an ultimate technique is for an example, OOdama FRS which can potentially destroy half a country (don't hold the exact words).

Not really, I always knew that the powerscalling would change to Bijuu levels, just look at the 1st panel of the 1st chapter

It says Kurama can destroy mountains with the swing of his tail, and since I think everybody knew Naruto was going to control it, the power scallings would have to change


About the current power ups, they were given by basicly a God and I think is temporary (because of the movie)

It would be fine if it was only one beast. A bunch of shinobi fighting one beast could actually defeat it. Also, a single 17-year old dude firing atomic-bombs out of his arms surely qualifies as DBZ stuff.

Lel, u wanted a bunch of shinobi's to defeat a beast that resides inside the main character??
That will make the story very lame and predictable, and Kishi already said that it was always his plan from the beginning to make Naruto tame the Kyuubi.....in his one shot Naruto himself was the Kyuubi.......so it is obvious that as soon as the MC gains control of the Kyuubi he will face even stronger enemies. U_U
Also mangas with low powerlevels always have lower sales regardless of their content, because the major customers of mangas are children!!

Well, that's subjective. I always thought of it as deus-ex machina sort of thing. I didn't immediately jump to the conclusion that one day, people are gonna be able to do the same things.

Well, "God" in the first place appearing and being involved in the battles is another thing I don't like but anyhow.

Lets not forget that most of the fights in part 1 were chunnin level fights, most part 2 were Kage level fights, and now it's god level fights...

Part 1 was Genin,low level fighters - Part 2 ,S Class (Akatsuki) and Kage level.

Goku and Vegeta were able to blow up the planet in the Saiyan Saga,until it's like that it's false to say Naruto is DBZ level.The only ones with such greag power to blow stuff up,(mountains not a whole planet) are, Bijuu's,Jin's,PS Users.

That's it.

But like I said, all that was acceptable because it didn't diminish with what it started out. It would've been better if Kishimoto continued with that stuff progressively but not so fast and so high level-wise.
