LMAO I won't mess up Korra sensei. ^^ *Crawls out of the ground using Hiding like a Mole jutsu and sits across from you* Nice Doton was the first element I mastered. Okay Sherlock its nice to meet you I'm Omega, Korra's trial sempai, I like long walks on the beach etc. I dislike itching powder, and I'd like to win the lottery wait I did (NB lottery.)xD, We will now commence training. Come sit with me on the ground and tell me all that you know of Doton and just a little bit about yourself Likes, Dislikes, Dreams #YouknowwhereIgotthatlastpartfrom.

I'm Sherlock. Nice to meet you. I'm a huge Sherlock Holmes fan. I like watching supernatural and fantasy genre animes and shows, hanging out with my friends and going to see new places. There's nothing I particularly dislike. About my dreams(RP goals), I want to be good RPer, want to be a part of Genjutsu Masters hideout and own a Tobirama Bio (I finally contracted Penguin's Tobirama fever Lol), I'd love to have Sound on my Sherlock Bio and would love to have Fuuinjutsu too (Man I'm getting too greedy now xD). I want to be a Senpai too cause I think it will be a good way to contribute to the RP.

#IknowfromwheresinceyouhaveakakashibioxD

Doton

Doton in one of the basic five elements. Its the most solid of them all. It is strong against Water as it can stop water in its tracks. Its weak against Lightning as Lightning cuts through it. It is neutral to fire and wind. Most Iwa Shinobi have Doton as their natural affinity. Doton is also a part of two powerful known Elemental KGs i.e. Lava and Wood, both quite formidable. Lava burns everything in its path and Wood has the power to restrain Bijuu chakra. Doton is also a part of the only know canon Kekkai Touta, Dust release which is very destructive. Doton is quite useful for defence purposes. Even a low ranked doton wall is pretty handy and can defend against quite a lot of stuff like weapons, bombs and low ranked jutsus. Its pretty good in attacking as well. A low ranked Doton jutsu, like a doton spike has the potential to maim and kill the opponent if timed perfectly.

(That Penguin infecting my student! xD Maybe I’ll teach you Fuinjutsu when I become a sensei. U_U)
Hmm you have some knowledge of earth but I think you need to know more about it so I want you to wine and dine this piece of earth while you listen to me. *Grabs a pile of dirt and throws it across from you. I then create a pillar of earth between you two acting as a table* Don’t judge me. * I create small earthen tools and juggle them in one hand has I give you an explanation*)

First if you dislike nothing this means you like everything and if you like everything there is nothing you hate so to hate nothing you repel hate so you dislike, dislike. U_U. LOL

Moving on, So you seem to know your KGs that involve earth, and earths uses and solidity so that is good. Well don’t forget you are also required to master Earth and Fire if you want Steel Release. Now I completely made this term up but Earth and Water are what I’d like to call Source Elements because many of their best techniques require sources for their maximum usage so make sure you read the terrain of the battle. Of course some of these techs can be created out of the air or from the inside of you, expelled by your mouth but most of the time it is best if you have a source of earth (since this is Doton class) if you want to be an efficient Doton user. These include any solid ground with grass, sand, or just rock, even forests; however, if you find yourself in an all water (that’s not shallow) environment, wooden floors/bridges, or steel ground like in Ame you will be in trouble. View this when you get the chance. [ ]
It was a fight I had when Doton was my only mastered element. The enemy purposely got rid of the source to rob me of my best element plus he mastered Raiton making my life harder. We decided that I won on the move involving the huge mountains. ^^, but this will show how important a source is.

Your strength and weaknesses are on point, lightning cuts through Doton with ease while Doton can impede the force of water. No don’t look at me, continue your date with the mound of Earth and get to understand it(Hands you a box of Konoha Fried Chicken) KFC. (I smuggled it out of Konoha.^^), anyway there are KG’s that are strong and weak against Doton that you might want to remember. I doubt you will face all of these KG but I’ll tell you to leave no stone unturned #pun
Doton is strong against Ice, (Double strength to Dark), Rain, Scorch, Steam
Doton is weak to Dust, Sand, Blast, Boil, Steel, Storm, and Crystal.
When you master Earth I will tell you how to counteract the sound element with Doton

You can also combine Earth with Fire to create somewhat lava based techniques, Earth with Water to create Mud based techniques (but be careful of this, you need to know the nature of the techs you are combining but we will get to that later.), also Wind can be used to increase the force behind some Earthen techs.

*ending my juggling act* Any questions before we move on? If not come sit with me and enjoy the view as we work on your knowledge of Doton and developing your Doton chakra. Also did you manage to get the number of that pile of dirt, she seemed very lively??????

Sherlock looks with interesr as Senpai raises a pillar of earth and throws some earth in his hands and then carefully begins to listen as Senpai begins to speak.

That was both informative and funny xD. Read it all and no questions. Just didnt get the last line about counting the pile of dirt thing >.>

*Using the technique Moving Earth Core I raise the ground so we have a good view around us.*

Feel free to look around but let your ears be attentive to my words; however, sometimes it is pictures that speak the loudest. Nature never ceases to amaze me. People could view this land and see nothing but a barren landscape but to truly understand doton you will have to see through the eyes of a rock, my eyes. I see this land as an ancient power, and long term gift. Doton is a special element in that it is something we all depend on to live. Of course people will say food, water, and shelter; however, without a steady ground below us we would be forced to helplessly freefall into chaos. *Turns to you and points at the sunrise, but it was the horizon he wanted you to see* You see Earth is order. At the end of this training you will have the eyes of a rock and the heart of a mountain. My job is to get you there and what you do with that knowledge is beyond my immediate control. Training with me, you will not only know how to use this element but you will understand this element; for, how can you truly use something you do not understand in its entirety, its natural unaltered state. You see before you the beauty of Earth, we can create mountains, structures, remaking the maps of the world or, *quickly lowers the ground until we are in a deep hole.* We can destroy, and scar the earth to unimaginable levels, betrayal of Earth by Earth. This is the power you will learn to wield and the burden you will have of wielding it. Never forget that. *I raise the earth again back to its original state.* The path is yours and I am that proverbial fork in the road. Here take this litmus paper and remember all that I’ve told you, this you will do on your own.

*I back up a safe distance and then I lower the ground around you 10 meters, not too deep that I can’t here you*

Do not worry I know how to use Doton like I know the back of my hand! Wait that’s never been there before…., anyway tell me what reaction takes place with the paper and I will raise you up! If not you will spend the rest of your life with the mole people. Also make me laugh, a sense of humor can deliver your soul from the darkest of times don’t you agree?(heh heh jk but he doesn’t know that)

*I sit down eyes closed and legs crossed awaiting my new students first test.*

Ah I remember these days.

(If you haven’t noticed I take an RP(<<<<<<people fear that word) approach to training,
also you don’t have to make me laugh but it’d be appreciated. ^^

Senpai raises the ground and both of us are lifted upwards. Sherlock takes a quick look around and focuses back to Senpai. Senpai first talks about nature and Doton and then points towards the horizon. The magnificent view grips Sherlock's attention for a moment but he quickly brings back his focus to Senpai. Senpai then elaborates some more about Doton and the training. He again performs a tech and this time we start going back to the ground, even after reaching the original height of the ground, we still continue to descend until finally we are inside a deep hole. Senpai continues to speak about Doton while raising us up once again and back to the original ground level. He then hands over Sherlock a paper and asks him to focus his chakra into it while he lowers the ground around Sherlock and himself gets back and sits at a distance in a meditative pose.

Sherlock clears his mind and shifts his attention to the paper in his hand. He focuses his chakra into the paper but nothing happens. He closes his eyes holds the paper in his right hand and touches the earth wall around him. He feels the hardness of the earth and itches it into his memory. He opens his eyes once again and holds the paper in both hands and focuses his chakra once again into the paper. He holds on to the feeling of touching a rock wall. After a few minutes the paper becomes a bit harder and like a piece of brittle dirt of earth it crumbles away.

Sherlock then looks up and shouts, "Senpai! The paper turned into brittle dirt and crumbled away!"

LMAO, made me laugh bro, and thats my student they grow up so fast. ;_;, but be careful I think that mountain is getting jealous. 0_0

Well done! *I raise the ground even with myself* I check to see if this was true. There were tiny pieces of paper around him that could only be made in such a way that would crumble from his earthen chakra. Now gather all of those crumbled pieces and piece them back together. That paper doesn’t come cheap so recycling is one of my practices. xD

Now that we have gotten your Doton chakra out and about, uhhhhhh what now………oh, it is time to learn some techniques starting with the S ranks *pigeon arrives with letter as I read it and then put it in my pocket* Well my superiors are telling me that is a one way ticket to get me fired so let’s start with molding D rank chakra yayyyyyy! In all seriousness this is for the best. You have just awakened your doton chakra and it is as an unsharpened blade now you will focus on putting it to use until it is potent enough to be taken seriously. You remember the pillar I made and the tools I juggled with, in the beginning? Create a pillar of earth using the earth below. Make sure you focus on its nature remembering everything I said before, then create a shield, and a type of small tool using earth from the ground. After you have done so I want you to explain to me using my template. I’ll tell you why I have these things listed instead of throwing a random template at you.*Ironically throws a random template at you to read* These things are for your own good as I am not trying to mold an average RP’er who knows how to perform the technique only, as that does not help you as a fighter, but an elite strategist who has great timing, strategy, and creative use of the techniques so you can also be an effective fighter understand? Now let’s begin hopefully I didn’t intimidate you; I believe you will do fine. ^^, PS could you list your fav Basic five elements real quick with Fav being at the top and least fav being at the bottom thank you.

Uses: How could this jutsu be used and in what situations would you have to use it, creative uses, any uses outside of battle any uses outside of attacking?
The number one thing of effectively using a jutsu is knowing the right time to use them. You will see as we continue that all of these jutsus are of the earth element but they cannot all be used in the same situation, for the same purposes. Having an A rank earth jutsu is useless if you don’t know how and when to use it.
Counters: Specifically how would you counter this jutsu, and name drawbacks of this jutsu
Strange huh learning a counter to your jutsu but if you know what the drawbacks of your own jutsu are you can effectively prepare to cover that drawback with other strategies and you can predict opponents nexts moves preparing appropriate strategies ahead of time. Think of specific jutsu counters if you can but for D ranks since a multitude of things can counter it you may list generic drawbacks as well.
Combinations: Specific combinations including this jutsu
As you know you can perform 3 jutsus per turn. I doubt you will just be sending this one jutsu out and leave yourself open to combination attacks so this will help you develop a base for what works and what doesn’t work with this jutsu.
Jutsu Rating: Admittedly I picked this one up from NK sensei (when he was sensei). I like this because it will develop your thoughts on your fighting style. You will have an affinity to use some jutsus more than others that is just a fact. I want you to rate from 1-10 based on how much YOU like this jutsu. Just because it is S rank does not mean it will get a 9 or 10 or that you will even like using it, what matters is if you are comfortable using it in your style of fighting so rate it and tell me why you gave it that rating.
We’re going through D ranks 1 at a time and S ranks will be 1 at a time. Other ranks will be at 2 or 3 at a time(probably 2 at a time)

~Flashback~
You remember the pillar I made and the tools I juggled with, in the beginning? Create a pillar of earth using the earth below. Make sure you focus on its nature remembering everything I said, then create a shield, and a type of tool using using earth from the ground manipulated by your doton chakra. After you have done so I want you to explain to me using my template.

And do not forget you must never lose your concentration so to test your focus *turns on soap opera* don’t let it distract you. Man I love General Hospital. U_U, (I don’t know where I get my material from, I’m a little off centered xD)

TBH I haven’t started Wind and I’m only upto B Ranks in Fire and Lightning and have 0 battle exp. So I can’t really make my fav Basic 5 list based on usage and personal exp. From what I have seen yet in my trainings, Fire is the least versatile IMO and Water is the most versatile. Lightning seems cool too. So out of the three I’m training in, I’d rate them in the following order –
1.Water
2.Lightning
3. Fire

I’m inclined to add Earth at #1 with water cause I had a quick look at the jutsu list and it seems versatile. I honestly dunno where I’ll put wind xD And this is purely based on what jutsus I’ve seen in training. It might change after I use what I’ve learnt in battles and I gain some battle exp.

Senpai brings Sherlock up on hearing the paper crumbled away. He then gives Sherlock further instructions on how to perform the next technique or rather what to perform for the next technique. As Sherlock gets ready to perform his first earth tech, Senpai switches on a Soap Opera to see how much focused Sherlock is.
“I’m more of a Fantasy and Comedy genre fan. Never was into Soap Operas xD”

And he begins to perform the tech.

Perform: Sherlock starts focusing at his chakra once again. He remembers the feeling when he first successfully manipulated his chakra into earth. He also remembers how Senpai manipulated earth to form a pillar and weapons. He holds his hand in front of him and focuses hard. The earth in front of him starts to rise up a bit. After a minute it rises high enough to form a earth pillar. Sherlock then focuses his chakra once again and manipulates it to form earth tools like Kunais and Knives and a shield.

Uses: I think this is a pretty useful tech. It is versatile. I can form small pillars for defense against projectiles and stuff like kunai’s and bombs. I can even use it alongside Taijutsu. If my opponent is a bit high from the ground I can run at him while creating pillars in my path as steps or like a staircase. I can even use a pillar as support to my hand while I kick my opponent sideways. The weapons are useful too. They come in handy when you have no weapons.

Counters/Drawbacks: A low ranked lightning tech can easily counter this tech cause of their elemental advantage. Its low ranked and doesn’t have much range. The things we can make out of this are small in size.

Combinations: Can be used with fire projectiles. I can coat the weapons with a fireball and send them at my opponent. I can add explosive tags at the weapons and throw them. If I’m at short range from my opponent I can raise the ground below them to get them off balance and hit them with a projectile.

Your Jutsu Rating: 10 cause its versatile and can be used in many ways.

I thought of making a super hot Boa Hancock figurate for you with this but you’ll be petrified if you look at it. U_U

Looked for a pic of the actual jutsu you just performed but I couldn’t find it so picture a small pillar that’s at the most half your height or a lot less. I usually visualize it just reaching above my knee cap.

Well put its hard to determine your favs because you haven’t had enough training to decide, I was switching all of the time but it was usually centered around earth and lightning, earth is very versatile though. I just knew from the anime my fav was Raiton but during training I really liked earth as well.

I like your interesting point of view on the jutsu and the taijutsu use was creative (just make sure you have time to pull that move off as faster members will speed blitz you.

WHY DIDN’T YOU MAKE HER SHE IS SO….I mean she is a lovely elegant women who should be respected in everyway. I’ll be expecting one at the end of this training though. U_U

No problems there well done. Also another use that seems to be a fan favorite is shooting a pillar out from under you at a 45 degree angle to escape or move from your current location as you are aware you cannot freeform dodge. With your jutsu levels you can’t counter everything head on so you might need to jet out of there using this. This should not be used to dodge large attacks as you would be escaping to essentially nowhere, or if the enemy is channeling chakra under you meaning you cannot manipulate D rank chakra when the chakra in the ground is already there and is equal to or higher to the chakra needed to perform such a tech. And your rating is perfectly what I meant. For you this is a 10 so no quarrels about that now for your next test. *Turns it on One Piece and Boa Hancock is on* I SAID FOCUS! As for tools you were right when yous said “when you have no weapon” it is cool and all but you can essentially get the same effects from regular kunai without wasting chakra or a turn, and also the shield is good if that’s all you can use to block incoming attacks. Don’t use chakra or techs where it is not needed or advantageous. (Ex blocking regular kunai with shield wasting move and chakra when you can just block by throwing your own kunai). ^^
--------------------------
Now as you can see we created some pillars I’ll let you use this for target practice. Take this chunk of rock. *without warning you, I throw a heave chunk of rock for you to catch while I turn up the T.V*
Using your chakra focus on making that rock into a single staff then launch at the target…wait *draws target on pillars* launch it at those well crafted targets. This should land dead center on the target. Then use this chunk of rock *throws another chunk* and create several I’d say about 5 for this training and launch em at that other pillar and describe how these land on the target. Oh yeah don’t forget the template. ^^, I then turn to watch some more One Piece definitely not because of Boa Hancock. o_O

(Doton: Gansetsukon) - Earth Release: Rock Section Cane
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Offense
Range: Short (Mid on throw)
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

Sherlock listens carefully as Senpai reviews his performance and explanation of the previous jutsu. Senpai adds on more info about the jutsu like shooting a pillar from below you to escape. He also speaks on why its best to not use the jutsu against stuff like Kunai and weapons that can be dealt with relatively easily. Senpai then throws a chunk of rock at him and instructs him what to do for the next jutsu. Marks targets and again throws another chunk of rock and asks Sherlock to perform the jutsu once more but with more staffs.
He then turns up the TV which has One Piece with Boa Hancock’s bath scene on. Sherlock makes a rolleyes face and says, “I have all eps of One Piece. I can watch it any time I want. Oh and one more thing, Shirahoshi > Hancock. U_U”

He then focuses his mind on performing the next jutsu, “Time for some action.”

Perform: Sherlock holds the chunk of rock in his right hand and begins to focus his chakra within it. He makes an image of an earthen staff is his mind and focuses hard on the image while channeling his chakra into the rock. By nature and shape manipulation he changes the rock into a staff. He then throws the staff at the target hitting it accurately at the centre. Bull’s eye! He takes the other chunk of rock and channels his chakra into it. This time he makes 5 staffs as instructed by Senpai. He aims and throws all of them at the target board but this time they don’t hit exactly where he aimed for. One even doesn’t hit the target board but hits right outside it instead. Damn its better to hit one staff only. Multiple ones don’t land accurately.

Uses:Can be used to effectively impale an enemy when they come very close. It also has the potential to kill an enemy despite being a D Ranked tech.

Counters/Drawbacks: Can be easily destroyed by a low rank lightning tech. While its possible to throw multiple staffs, they don’t land accurately. Can be used only when there are chunks of rocks in the battlefield.

Combinations:Can be sent at an enemy combined with fire attacks. Can be made much more powerful by using wind chakra like Asuma Sarutobi making his weapons stronger with wind chakra for example. (Not sure about this though cause Asuma had special weapons that could absorb chakra but since the rocks have been manipulated into a staff by our own chakra and since it can be coated by fire then why not wind, so I think it might work.)

Your Jutsu Rating: 4/10 It’s a simple projectile that can be dealt with easily. Even though just one projectile is accurate it can be dealt with a low ranked lightning tech and multiple staffs don’t land accurately.

“You snotty little-, Your lies will not faze me just for that training will get a lot harder *receives letter* Not until we get out of D ranks???? Darn it. Just you wait I will break you yet! >_>”

I was really involved in the T.V so I had barely noticed that Sherlock had finished until I turned around to see what took place just in time to see him throw it. Well done! As you can see one staff hits the target dead on as it is easier for you to control and concentrate, when you use multiple staffs it is not as accurate but it has its advantageous such as when facing an enemy head on or even multiple enemies standing close to each other. If they see your single staff you might be accurate but it will; in fact, be easier to dodge but with more staffs you chances increase on attacking a moving enemy but you might not land the attack where you desired. Single staff use is great when you either sneak up on an enemy or if you have immobilized or trapped an enemy. Do not forget its other use as a melee weapon in case you get into close range battles though this should be last resort as you’d rather use more lethal attacks or tai, kenjutsu. I believe wind attacks would work well when throwing the earthen spear and fire as well but wind is a really great fit to make it more deadly. I’d say use an appropriate wind technique to increase the force behind it. Non battle uses could be as simple as a pointing stick, walking stick, or if you are injured you could use this as a cane, to examine the unknown without touching it yourself. NW is treacherous.
------------------
Next technique, I’d like it if you could knock those staffs off of those pillars please. Channel your doton chakra throughout your arm and create a ring of rocks near it, be in full control as I will be making unnecessary noises to distract you. *creates small earthen pots and pans* When you have full control of the rocks release your chakra and fling it towards those staffs stuck in the pillars to get rid of them.

(Again no picture so you have to estimate. Being a D rank attack of rocks floating around you arm I’d say they aren’t that big. Probably about the size of a chunk of rock that you cold hold in your hand or a little bigger.)

( Doton: Iwa Rendan ) - Earth Release: Rock Barrage
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user will concentrate their chakra into their arm and then release their chakra creating a ring of rocks that are then flung at the opponent.

Sherlock listens carefully as Senpai reviews Sherlock’s performance on the previous jutsu and adds on more information about how to use it outside combat. I’ll remember that NW advice Thanks. Senpai then instructs Sherlock about how to perform the next jutsu and forms earthen pots and pans to make sure Sherlock learns to perform the tech amid all distractions.

Now Now, this is quite a handy tech if someone wants to start a riot. Also Senpai, play something cool on those earthen pots and pans. Something flashy as background music while I flashily knock out those staffs off the pillars.
You must be registered for see images

Perform: Sherlock focuses his doton chakra in his arm. He visualizes chunks of rocks around it. He begins to form chucks of rocks around his arm with the help of nature and shape manipulation. At first it seems that they might fall but they gradually begin to levitate around his arm in the form of a perfect circle. Sherlock being able to control them, flings them at the staffs and knocks the staffs off the pillars.

Uses: Pretty handy IMO. Can be used to check if there are any booby traps or even land mines laid on the ground. Can knock the opponent unconscious or even potentially kill him if hit at the right spot at the back of the head. Or even the opponents eyes can be damaged by the rocks. Can be used as a distraction.

Counters/Drawbacks: Is a low ranked tech and thus can be easily dealt with a low ranked ration jutsu. A simple jutsu like thunder burn is enough to counter it.

Combinations: Can be used in combination with Fire. The user can first trap the opponent with Water Syrup jutsu and then hit them with the rocks.

Your Jutsu Rating: 6/10

“YOU”RE SO AWESOME *gets letter* I’m not supposed to be in awe of my student its supposed to be reversed. T_T”

Holding my pans out I begin to play the beat to All of the Lights by Kanye West. I then summon my CJ Gaia to sing Rihanna's part. xD

I like your specific jutsu combos and counters, that was pretty good. Not much to add since this is a basic tech and you covered some good points. Your note about booby traps is great just be sure in the NW or in a battle you have a valid reason for checking for booby traps in the first place or else it will be seen as metagaming and probably you losing the fight.

Now you will learn your first C rank technique. It goes in combination with another D rank I withheld for the right time so I’ll explain them together almost like one jutsu. You will channel your chakra into the ground below you into find sand allowing you to easily dig through it. Do it quickly as I throw this kunai at you but be careful as you will need more chakra then you have been molding before so feel free to practice channeling it a few times. Being underground you can sense locations by vibrations through the ground so I want you to tunnel to my dancing clone *creates clone* and then reach out and grab his foot. Using chakra you will be able to drag him down as you pull yourself up above ground while his head only shows above the earth. Once you’re done you will have finished the D ranks. Two jutsus so two templates.

“Anyways Sherlock how much battle experience have you had, Official, unofficial, NW experience, Mock battles, tournies etc. Just some casual convo, I’d like to share my experiences with you younguns *gets letter* wait Im still a noob apparently. xD”

Type: Supplementary
Range: Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth. While inside the earth, the user cannot make handseals and can only use Earth techniques below C-Rank. If he tries to do a higher ranked technique, he'll disrupt the Hiding like a mole technique and be left crushed.

Hey that beat is familiar. I remember dancing on that song in the club. The next morning I got up in my car’s driver seat, without any memory of what happened after taking some(a lot of) shots.

Senpai first talks about the previous jutsu while Sherlock carefully listens to him. Senpai then goes on to talk about the next jutsus to perform. They are a combination of jutsus. One of them requiring more chakra than the techs he performed till now required. On Senpai’s suggestion, Sherlock practices channeling and moulding more chakra for a few mins and informs Senpai that he’s ready. Once he’s ready, Senpai asks him to dodge Senpai’s Kunai while going down the earth and then pulling down his dancing clone while resurfacing.

Alright let’s do this!

(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique

Performance: Sherlock manipulates the earth below him and descends into the ground as he dodges a Kunai thrown by Senpai. Once inside, Sherlock is able to sense Senpai and his clone above the ground. Sherlock slowly moves towards in the clone’s direction and stops right below him.

Uses: Now that’s a very useful jutsu IMO. You can use it to fool your enemy into fighting your clone while you lurk underground either to prepare for your next move or escape. It can be used to sneak in a no entry area or pass any info to your comrades by sending your clone using the tech. (Robin and Law style when she appears to inform him about her and Usopp’s whereabouts)

Counters/ Drawbacks: I think this jutsu won’t work against Sensors and Byakugan users(I think it should work against Sharingan and Rinnegan users though). Its risky if the opponent uses a lightning tech that reaches the underground, though if I send my clone down when the opponent is unable to see and manage to keep the upper hand in the battle, I can see to it that I don’t give my opponent room to use such a lightning tech.

Combinations: I think this tech can be used to make some cool combos. And for that reason I see myself using it a lot in my fights. It’s a great tech to sneak on your opponent provided your opponent doesn’t know you sent a clone or either have gone underground yourself. Personally I’ll send clones using this tech and not go myself. Its safest to make a move after you have been underground for sometime and when the opponent is either paralyzed or still for some reason. I’ll put my opponent in a strong enough Genjutsu and then make my clone resurface and make the blow from behind the opponent. I can do the same by paralyzing my opponent using a lightning tech and then let my clone make the kill. Another way would be to let my clone resurface a safe distance behind my opponent and use a powerful jutsu while my opponent is attacking my original standing in front of him.

Jutsu Rating: 10/10

(Doton: Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique

Performance: Once below him, Sherlock emerges out of the ground and at the same time pulls the clone inside the ground. The clone is pulled completely into the ground with only his head remaining above the ground.

Uses: Useful to make the opponent’s moves restricted or simply make the opponent lose their balance. Also one can injure their enemy's legs by stabbing them with a Kunai.

Counters/ Drawbacks: This technique first requires the use of hiding in the mole tech which is useless against Sensors and Byakugan users. So it can’t be performed if your opponent has the said abilities. The opponent can use a low ranked lightning tech to defend himself and shock you and possibly disrupt both hiding like the mole and this tech.

Combinations: This jusu itself is a supplementary jutsu of hiding like a mole, which on activation makes the user incapable of using any tech except D Rank Earth. So I can’t think of any jutsus that can be used in combo with this.

Jutsu Rating: 5/10

My battle exp is almost zero. I made my first ever battle move the day before yesterday in a fight in our Amegakure forum plus we are going to use just D Rank techs of 3 elements(Fire,Water,Lightning for me) and Nin-Gen-Tai. xD
You seem to have a good battle exp.

Hopefully you didn’t drive bro I’d like you to be safe. xD

NOTES ON Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique
So first jutsu no problem at all just remember if you are too close to the surface then the enemy will be able to see your chakra in the ground using sharingan or rinnegan as Korra did in our fight. In our RP many people are strong so I try to refrain from using this jutsu myself but rather let a clone do it as you said. If there is no way to disguise my entry into the ground and even then I’d play it safe. *see my fight with my sensei Korra I used this jutsu with earth clone* Your entry can be disguised by dust clouds, smoke bombs/jutsu, your own fire jutsu or enemy fire jutsu as many of them block sight.. I used this against CP(cursed prince) when I first started the RP and had only C rank earth techs. He used swamp of the underworld to killed me, so watch out for that or other attacks that can target the ground. Might be a good choice when your opponent creates a mist as they wouldn’t see you in the white realm and you can find them via vibrations. Remember only D rank Earth techniques can be used at this time or else you get crushed; also the area you dug into returns to normal leaving no traces of where you dug. You surprised me with you wise strategy without me having to tell you good job I’m impressed. (That’s why I don’t explain too much when I first post techs. I want you to see how much you know and your own strategic level, then I write wallies afterward. LMAO) Last note his is not like a sensing jutsu. You know placement via vibrations but you dont have an exact clue of what is happening up there.

NOTES ON Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique
This jutsu I don’t use often simply because Nagashi exists. LOL, I have used this on a low rank Kiri ninja and killed em with it but against more EXP RP’ers this is a no go. If somehow you were to paralyze or trap/immobilize the enemy and perform this with a clone then that would be great. Also serves as great distraction if used with a clone because the enemy is forced to counter the clone less he be dragged down and then you have a chance to attack. Most combos come after/if you have come up from the ground and this is good for torture. Heh heh. There is a situation for all jutsus you just have to find out which jutsu best fits each situation. I agree with your rating that said as I dont use it much either.

------------
Now for this next jutsu, I think this is the first one requiring handseals, again you will be tampering with C rank Doton chakra. Perform the rat handseal and control various sections of rock moving them around the dancing clone I dug out while you weren’t looking. Its at it again stop this nonsense once and for all and form two sections from the manipulated rock and crush him. Oh lord he’s starting to twerk..end it now. (Don’t forget to look at ranges. ^^)

(Doton: Ganban Kyu) - Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Mid/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the Rat hand seal, the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent. The user then forms two gigantic sections that crush the opponent.

End result looks like this

This is a pretty reliable jutsu you can’t really mess up. xD, Using your chakra, cause the earth near that cracked boulder to jet up in the form of a spike pillar from the ground striking the boulder. Describe the effects of what happens.

(Doton: Ganchūsō) - Earth Release: Stone Spikes
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: This technique lets the user create a few rock pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target. The rock pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target if these are less dense. The pillars/spikes can be done in any earthen surface, including other earth techniques of the user.

You must be registered for see images

After you’re done we will move to a more spacious area. Its getting crowded with Destruction. LOL.

------------
Regarding your battle exp, good to hear you started it’s never too soon. I’ll give you bits and pieces of my RP career, well my quest for Doton Mastery in particular, in full honesty as we progress. (If you want more stories sign up for more classes xD) It should help you as a fighter and maybe help in how you wish to tackle the RP/NW is that fine with you? ^^ (P.S again sorry for wallies but I hope this info really helps. xD)

Sherlock listens attentively as Senpai expands on the previous two jutsus. Senpai then instructs Sherlock about the next two jutsus. Sherlock gets ready to perform them.

Alright! Here we go!

(Doton: Ganban Kyu) - Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin

Performance: Sherlock performs a rat handseal, his first in his Doton training and begins controlling the various rocks. He then surrounds the dancing clone with them and as he’s able to control the rocks, he forms two gigantic sections or rather two big rocks by combining the many small ones and slams them crushing the clone in between them.

Uses: Pretty useful for killing the opponent. The rocks can also be able to block the opponent’s attack just as he launches it or if he’s about to launch it.

Counters/Drawbacks: Requires rocks nearby. While it doesn’t say so, I still think one cannot perform any other tech while performing this one as the user needs to control the rocks, so it requires focus. An easy way to overcome this difficulty is to have your clone perform this tech while you perform the tech that can be used with this one as a combo or simply prepare for the next one.

Combinations: Can be used to make the final blow after a tech that can restrict the opponent’s movement has been used. I can crush the opponent after putting him in a Gen. I can also use this tech in combination with stone spikes. I can create stone spikes below the opponent the same time I crush him with the rocks.

Jutsu Rating: 5/10

(Doton: Ganchūsō) - Earth Release: Stone Spikes

Performance: Sherlock focuses on his doton chakra. He then manipulates the ground near the cracked boulder to rise up in the form of a spike. The moment it protrudes above the ground and hits the cracked boulder, it shatters the boulder to pieces.

Uses: Can be used to make an opponent immobile by impaling them. It can even kill the opponent. It is a good way to keep your opponent at bay if you are not really good at Taijutsu and want your opponent to remain away at a certain distance. It is also useful to track your opponent if you cannot track your opponent with your eyes. For example if my opponent is a Raikage and I can’t track him with my eyes, I’ll simply fill as much ground as I can with spikes. Now the Raikage armour will destroy the spikes as he stomps through them but I’ll know where he is as I see my spikes being destroyed. (Though probably I won’t have much time to do it all since I’ll have to put most of my energy in keeping him at bay. I’d rather fill the ground with water so that he won’t be able to use that damned armour xD But it still seems like a useful strategy to me to track the opponent’s location to where the spikes are destroyed if my eyes can’t track him. Though an opponent can always destroy them all at once but I’ll again make them to keep the distance) If your eyes can’t see an opponent, alter the terrain in a way that his movements will give away his location. And this tech seems to be useful to do something like that.

Counters/Drawbacks: Can be easily dealt with a low ranked lightning jutsu. Using this jutsu restricts the area we can move in too.

Combinations: Can be used to easily impale an enemy whose movements we have already restricted, like someone we already put in a Genjutsu. Can be used with the previous tech i.e. Bedrock Coffin. When the rocks are closing in on the opponent, we can make spikes grow on them so the opponent will be impaled and crushed to death.

Jutsu Rating: 7.5/10

Would be awesome to learn from your experience ^^ Somehow I end up being a student in the field that my teacher likes the most. You like earth and McRazor Sensei who’s teaching me Gen likes Gen a lot. xD

(T_T I used my wit to make your experience related to me…everything in life is related to me U_U)
NOTES ON: (Doton: Ganban Kyu) - Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin

So first you don’t need pieces of rock lying everywhere for techs such as these but rather you are manipulating the rocks from the earth to form sections and you are right about not being able to use 2 jutsus. So best used in conjuction with clones but as this is not really a fast attack and requires a bit of manipulation. I wouldn’t recommend using this as a jutsu to finish someone off when they are in a gen as it isn’t a very fast attack and the opponent will break out. Not much to add as you have listed most of its uses

NOTES ON: (Doton: Ganchūsō) - Earth Release: Stone Spikes

This is jutsu is commonly used after genjutsu on this base. The enemy may essentially use Nagashi to break out of Genjutsu and counter this at the same time or use the earthen armor (S rank) to break out and guard themselves. It might be a little metagaming cuz in any other situation they would use Kai but its not too blatent so this will usually pass, so make sure you have another jutsu aiming for the kill as this one might not do it against experience RP’ers. At the most, against enemies you can’t track, this might keep them at bay if you can aim it right but if you can’t track them at all then I doubt this will serve as much of a threat or detour moving at such a speed also you’d only have time to pull this off once imo before they are in point blank range if they are moving that fast. LOL, instead you would want to make it so they don’t track you imo by smoke, dust, fire, mist, gen etc(if they aren’t sensor, Doujutsu)

Okay this next jutsu will allow you to channel your chakra into the ground and create a small tremor underneath the opponent *I create an earth clone* I want you to shake the ground under this earth clone who is trying to create the First Church of Kaguya 0_0, he’s starting to preach stop him please. I’d note this jutsu’s wording almost begs you to break time frame rule but I wouldn’t count on you being able to use this after an opponents first technique. I’d say once you see someone performing handseals (a longer sequence not just one), or if they are motioning into their pocket to throw something then you could use this jutsu. You could simply use it to make them fall down if no moves have been made, but remember first jutsus go through so you cannot completely rob them of an entire action so choose wisely when beginning this jutsu.

(Doton: Yochi no Douyou) - Earth Release: World Shaking
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will concentrate and release their chakra into the ground to create a small tremer that can result in making the enemies lose their footing and fall to ground or miss the aim of a given technique.

After my clone is on the ground channel Doton chakra from withing and focus on making it a mud like substance. Spit it at the clone immobilizing him in a sticky patch and then perform it again aiming it at his neck so he chokes and never speaks again. >_>

(Doton: Dorosandan) – Earth Release: Mudshot
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 10
Description: The user spits a thick globule of mud at the target. If aimed correctly, it can blind the target's vision and choke them. It can also be used to create a sticky patch on the ground.

Couldn’t get the pictures but this is where I get most of the pictures anyway, so check it out.

MY STORY (DOTON)

So yeah when I first started the RP I was eager and confident to prove myself to everyone else in the RP. My knowledge of jutsus were limited so I had no idea how tough people actually were so I might have been a little overconfident. I began my first battle when I managed to get to C rank earth and had D rank Byakugan techs. I won a 2 v 1 fight..the 2 people were on my level so I was even more confident but after my loss to CP I realized my limited skill in one area would make it difficult even if I had strategic skills so I was eager to get stronger but perhaps too eager. It would lead to a road of humbleness. *To be continued gotta reply to find out more. ^^*
