So now you're gone like the rest
But like the rest before you
You did enough to leave us blessed
Just by being true (to yourself and everyone)
You made us laugh (like a good friend)
And opened the eyes of a few
Churning out the truth (even at the end)
All you had to do was make jokes that stuck like glue
You made a point all your theatrics
We were all laughing while being taught
The lessons were better than any drug fix
Turns out happiness can't be bought
Insight and peace of mind are gained
And can be lost by hatred or sadness
So you gave the world a healing light though pained
Bringing everyone a love of happiness
Now as you pass on to the next life
Your task is done but never forgotten
It's better to laugh than hold a harmful knife
Laughter is better than a misery that's rotten

As one of the few that's earned it
