Kamui is a Space Warping technique. Kakashi, Shino, and Hinata - especially the first two - created clear distinction between S/T Teleportation and Kamui some 300 chapters back. Like I said, log off.

Riiight.

You have proven jack. S / T techniques are called that, as they bend the laws of Space and Time. Obito's Kamui creates a warp point in space, a distortion, which links him straight to his pocket dimension. This is why his chakra cannot be traced, whilst Minato's S/T technique shifts him from point A to B without any space distortion, which is why his chakra is traceable, as it shifts him on the same plane.

Kamui is a S/T.

So wait what's the difference between S/T warping and S/T teleportation? I've always classified both as S/T ninjutsu.

Both kamui and FTG teleport the user to another destination, kamui is just slower.

Kamui creates Space Distortion, FTG and Sasuke's tech doesn't. FTG teleports on the same plane, Kamui doesn't. FTG is instant, Kamui isn't.

I can't believe that people are actually saying that Sasuke's teleport isn't instant XD! It doesn't take much intelligence to realise that it is.

Doesn't Sasuke have to prepare his teleport before he uses it? Even if he does have to prepare it, it doesn't change the fact that teleportation is instant.

Sasuke prepared it in the first panel, used it in second panel then reappeared in third. Normally there wouldn't be a problem (had it truly been instant) but the thing is naruto reached kaguya at the same time he did in third panel. Had it been truly instant naruto would have gained 0 ground from panel 2 to 3.

Naruto is so fast that he probably got there very shortly after Sasuke teleported. For all we know that panel could be shortly after the teleport, and it would only have to be a very small amount of time considering Naruto's speed. Maybe Kishi just didn't feel like making a panel just to show Naruto in the same position after Sasuke teleported.

No teleportation jutsu is actually "instant", because they all require the use of a subspace [Referred to as "time-space"].

not all teleportation is instantaneous while mintao's ftg seemingly is, sasuke's s/t might take 2 or 3 seconds to get from point A to point B
OT naruto's body flicker was shown to be at least as fast as sasuke's s/t

Motion lines are still around Sasuke, and that conjecture doesn't even make sense. Naruto's footspeed = Sasuke's teleport, but his attack speed and reflexes are far superior. As seen when Naruto can land blows on Kaguya, but Kaguya dodged Sasuke's S/T Chidori blitz no problem.

The teleportation jutsu in which "seals" are used are instant i.e. Hiraishin and Summoning.

No. Travel via teleportation is something that fundamentally requires the use of a time-space [Referred to as "subspace" in the databook] to execute, which is one of the reasons why Minato [By his own admission] would have been doomed if Obito managed to trap him in Kamui. There's no direct point A-B system, hence, no literally "instant" teleportation.
