and while the back story, about the generation of miracles and all is nice, the matches themselves don't have the same feel that cap'n tsubasa did. but then again, that's football and i love the game itself so meh, im bound to be biased towards that

I did not even knew basketball before reading manga. Maybe it is better because you don't bother yourself with how supernatural things look. Tsubasa probably has also dat nostalgia effect like DBZ did.

the green haired dude in KnB had the most clutch matches in the series, i love the tactics both sides came up with against each other.
when the ball is just floating in the air i can imagine how everyone would feel knowing its about to go in.
@cat didn't think Wave was tall since he's usually standing next to Kurome and he looked shorter when fighting Syura.

So I read the whole manga and I still can't decide which characters I like :|
Actually it's harder to start caring for anyone when you just read 50 chapters in one go - everything seems to fly past you way too quickly. So many things happened and I'm still struggling to memorize all names (but then again I also have a terrible memory).
