Why is Anime so far behind Manga? Like 60 chapters behind And why does it take like 1 week for one episode its nuts not happy with that! What do u think? (sorry if anyone made this before me).

Most mangas out there are better than Naruto tho.

OT --> Manga always comes first because Kishimoto has to write the story. The anime is just the manga animated. Usually in a manga chapter not that much can happen since it's only around 18 pages (for Naruto). Whereas in an anime episode they can incorporate 3 chapters or more if they wanted to, as it is more fast paced and is 20 minutes long. Since the anime can catch up to the manga quickly, they give filler episodes and breaks so the manga can be ahead of the anime and they won't run out of substance to animate.

Yeah I find the 2011 anime way better than the manga. Since pretty much up till the dark continent arc (essentially before it's hiatus), the art isn't very good. I suggest you watch the 2011 anime first and then you continue reading. It's pretty awesome.

Besides, the saddest thing about Naruto Shippuden is obviously the inconsistency in the animaton quality. U_U

Well it takes more effort and time to animate the panels imo and color those colorless pages. 1 week per chapter and 1 week per episode is fine for me. As for why is so far behind, fillers. Fillers slow the pace and make the anime longer than the manga.

20 minutes of animation takes a long time to do(usually about 2 months for 1 episode), this isn't like a live action show. They have about 8 different teams at any one time, each team comprised of around a dozen animators and various other staff, constantly working on episodes to get 1 out each week.
