not necessarily after konoha was formed it is possible and probable that many rouge ninja joined (aswell as other villages) and thats why there are only a handful of ninja from clans in konoha

a clan is a family decendantry so technically everyone is in a clan konoha just brought together people from multiple clans as part of their alliance

And only Hashirama could use Wood Style out of that clan. :| Never seen anyone else to use it, except Tenzo, who was an experiment that landed on shore accidentaly, so yeah.
On-Topic: Naruto doesn't possess a Kekkei Genkai, and Naruto isn't part of a clan. Uzumaki is just a family. :| A clan is something that fights or lives for a common reason for all it's members.
Not much is known of Uzumaki family, neither Namikaze. I repeat, Naruto doesn't have a KG, but he inherited his father's ability to manipulate Wind.

It is said that before the 5 Great Countries were founded, that Shinobi formed mercenary Clans to fight for the Daimyo, then clans joined together to create the Great Villages and Countries.. This means that ALL the decedents of Konoha ARE from different clans, regardless of if it is stated or not, or if bloodlines are mixed between two clans, you notice that a last or reference name is given to EVERY child, UZUMAKI Naruto, UCHIHA Sasuke. This doesn't mean that there IS in fact a Hatake Clan or a Haruno Clan, or if they're decedents of a clan that once stood in their stead.
The reason why there are "Clan-Less" ninja, is because great countries gave refuge to the nearby civilians. Ninja with Clan names + a Civilian with a "no-name" inherited name.
SO FOR EXAMPLE, If Uchiha Sasuke had a Child with Haruno Sakura, and they gave it the name of Haruno, it would still be a decedent of the Uchiha Clan.
The way that Masashi has given the last names to characters makes it almost IMPOSSIBLE to track decedents of Shinobi, for example, if it didn't state it, YOU COULD ASSUME Minato Namikaze is Naruto's father but you wouldn't know 100% unless the manga or series SPECIFICALLY told the reader/you.
Thus the Namikaze could be a decedent of some crazy clan, or even of the Uchiha Clan and we may never know.

Just because ONE person in that clan could use it doesn't mean that its not a Kekkei Genkai. Kekkei Genkai are inherited, however most Kekkie Genkai that we've seen, have to be activated through either personal trauma or something of the sort [like Sharingan Tomoe, and Mangekyo.]
There are a few that are able to be activated WITHOUT any prerequisite. It could be a possibility that Hashirama kept the secret to unlocking it to himself so he could be the leader. :\ Just because they're characters in a fictional world doesn't mean they don't experience greed. n___n;

As far as we know there isn't / hasn't been Uzumaki clan, and I just specified that it could possibly be any Kekkie Genkai out there. Chances are, is IF there is a Kekkie Genkai it'd be something inherited from his Fathers side.
Though considering nothing has been recorded about any Namikaze possessing a Kekkie Genkai, chances are there isn't any. Lost by tainted blood as some would say.
