i concentrate my chakra in my left arm and then, using chakra manipulation i transform it to dotonchakra. after that i release the chakra causing earth to grow on my arm. it grows and i shape it lika a ring of rocks. i then send the ring to fly towards a dummy.

Description: The user will concentrate their chakra into their arm and then release their chakra creating a ring of rocks that are then flung at the opponent.
Now we will be learning another combo as well, begin by standing firm and still, and without any suspicious movement, simply send your chakra into the ground beneath you and your opponent. Using that chakra, cause the very Earth to move about, by causing tremors on the structure, this will cause the Earth to shake violently, making your opponent fall onto the ground. Not hurting him to a great extent, but the main purpose of the tremor is to make him lose his balance and thus be open for a sneak attack.

Talking about sneak attacks, after you've formed the tremor and shook the ground, which in turn causes your opponent to fall, follow on with performing a single hand sign *shows* And again, send your Earth chakra into the ground. Then, forcefully manipulate the properties and structure of the Earth, making it form itself into a vast number of spikes that protrude out of the ground, at the same time as your opponent is falling, making him fall into a depending doom where he is stabbed and penetrated through all the spikes.

I gather my recently found Doton chakra in my body and release it, sending it to the ground below me and one of senseis clones causing the ground below us to shake violantly creating an earthquake. the clone loses his balance/footing and falls to the ground. meanwhile i perform the handseal sensei showed me and release more of my earthchakra, sending it towards the direction the clone is falling, forcing about 5-10 sharp spikes to emerge from the ground and pierce the clones torso.

Description: The user spits a thick globule of mud at the target. If aimed correctly, it can blind the target's vision and choke them. It can also be used to create a sticky patch on the ground.

Now what I want you to do is concentrate on your Doton chakra, channelling it throughout your entire body and dominantly towards your gullet, and once it is in your mouth mix it with the saliva in your spit, the molecules of your spit will mix with the chakra to form mud, a liquid-like earth substance. And from there, simply open your mouth up and spit the mud out, by using shape manipulation form the mud into that of a simple globule, compressed into that shape. The mud can be used for both offensive and defensive purposes, if you were to say spit it straight at your opponent, it can hit his eyes and momentarily disturb his vision, or you could lets say spit it at the ground next to his feet, and by using mud's thick like sticky properties, it will bind his feet to the ground and prevent him from moving.

Performing the technique: I begin gathering a fair amount of chakra in my lungs and the rest of my body. when i have the right amount i manipulate it, transforming it to Doton. i gather most of it in my mouth and mix it with my saliva, turning them to mud. after that i spit the mud out towards a dummys head.
How would you use the technique in battle: I would use this to blind the oponent and set up a sneak attack.
How to defend from the technique: a simple shield or wall would be enough to defend against it i belive. since this technique does not cause any actuall damage i would simply use my hands as shield to block the mud.
Do you like anything about the technique? i dont know. maybe that it can be used to blind the oponent.

Descripton: This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock. This can be especially useful if in a cave or a stone lodging. The technique can loosen the rocks and cause them to come raining down on whomever is trapped inside.

Okay this is best used in a cave then anywhere else. The opponent will control the nearby stone and rock and loosen them up making the whole cave very fragile. The cave will then begin to cave in on itself which can trap multiple opponents and kill them. You can use this to kill multiple opponents. I recommend that you never use it when your in the cave as well for thier is a chance you can also get hit by the rocks, so try trapping the opponent by luring them in the cave and then use the tech from outside.

Perform the technique: standing next to a mountain i gather my chakra all around my body and then manipulate it, transforming it to doton. afterwards i release it towards the mountain stones, causing them to losen up and fall down on a dummy, crushing it.
Creative uses/strengths: This is best used in a cave, like mentioned and does not require any handseals, its also up to mid range and it can trap and crush many enemys at the same time.
Drawbacks/counters: one of the drawbacks is that if used in a cave,there is a chance that the user can be trapped too. a way to counter is to go underground and thus avoiding the rocks entirely.

Description: When used with Earth Release: Earth Flow River, the user will then perform the Ram โ†’ Horse โ†’ Dragon they can create a dragon-like head that fires concentrated mud bullets at an opponent. This can also be combined with a fire jutsu to shoot lava toward an opponent. The dragon can be created from other mud techniques as along as a mud source is available.

This is a very basic projectile based technique. The user perform 3 hand seals and spew out a dense, concentrated ball of mud. Medium size, not so big it will cover your vision when sending it. This jutsu can be in combos with two other jutsus, its also able to travel a long range. Its one of the really basic techs but being able to hit an opponent will hurt their vision as well as push them back. Simplicity is a good thing, by the way. You can create the mud bullets by using a mud source around the area.

Description: After forming the needed hand seal (Tiger), the user transforms the ground underneath their opponent into a river of mud that throws them off balance and carries them away from the user. The mud created by this technique can also be used as a medium for the Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet technique.

With one hand seal you will create a river of mud under the opponent feet. Its throw them off balance as well as the mud carrying the opponent away. From their it becomes difficult for the opponent to stand straight on a moving mud river. You can send attacks while he is down from the mud. The river is made short range of you, and the overall mud length is 5 meters long when created. Right when it is created you can move on to an attack.

Description: After performing the required hand seals Rat โ†’ Horse โ†’ Dog โ†’ Snake and they then create a large amount of rock pillars to rise from under ground. They can then be controlled to surround their opponent and create a bamboo-like prison of rock.

The user will do 4 hand seals a have rock pillars around the opponent rise from the ground. They are controlled to surround the opponent leaving them trapped. Now the pillars move quick fast when rising, their purpose is simply to trap nothing more. The opponent if caught would take them some time to free themselves before you send an attack. You will have a window of attack. Simple ways if you are stuck in the prison is cutting it with a sword running lightning, or slicing them with wind. Its best cutting them off.

Afterwards i gather even more chakra and using chakra manipulation i transoform it to doton as i perfomr te threee nescessary handseals. i then release it into the mud in the groiund and using shape manipulation i mold the mud into the shape of a dragon head that shoots mudballs towards a few dummys.

right afterwards i gather a fair amount of doton chakra and as i have the right amount i four nescessary handseals and then i release my chakra into the ground, creating multiple rock pillars from the ground, after wards i controll the pillars to surround a dummy and inprison him.

Drawbacks/counters: Have to mkae a handseal first, giving the oponent a way to counter. can be evaded by creating a pillar to raise yourself above the mud.

Description: After striking the ground with their hands, the user manipulates the ground in front of him to form a slab that tilts upwards, up to 90ยบ, creating a wall of earth that can defend from incoming frontal attacks. In addition, the user can also create 2 slabs that will rise and tilt to the sides in front of him, as if "opening up" the ground. This can be done to create a clear path if anything hazardous is above the ground in that specific area.

An extremely basic defensive technique. The user will place their hands on the ground rising a large wall upfront of them to block frontal attacks. Note the user can not see through the wall. Its sturdy enough to stop most projectile based techniques. Now as said you can not see through the wall so you can be surprised by attacks from the sides, above or even underground so anticipate an attack from those areas.

Description: This technique lets the user summon a river of mud infront of them. This technique can have water added to it to speed up the flow and increase its power.

The opponent will create a river up front of them and send it towards the opponent, the river is made of mud and runs slow alone, so its best to add some water to speed it up and have a more impact power. If an opponent is caught they will have restricted movement due to the heaviness of the mud as well as be pushed back. The rver goes up to mid long range. After making the mud you cna go onto another tech making it combo friendly. I would personally heat up the mud and give it a higher attack potency. Its also quick to perform but the river is straightforward and easy to evade.

(Doton: Dochu Eigyo no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Underground Projection Fish Technique

Description: Using this jutsu, a person can hide underground until they're ready to attack an opponent by merging with the ground itself. By utilizing earth-chakra, the person can stealthily emerge from the ground without disrupting the ground around him. The disadvantage with this technique is that merging with the ground is rather slow and while perfomring the technique, the user is vulnerable to high ranked Earth techniques. The user isn't hidden from doujutsu or sensory ninjas and cannot travel beyond the 3 meter deep mark. Moving around in the ground is slow and the user cannot sense very well what is happening above.

This is mainly an evasion jutsu or set up jutsu. The user will slowly drop into the ground for either evading jutsus or escaping tough situations. Its very quick and simple to use. The other main way to use it, is that you can snick attack an opponent, a tough thing is you will be unable to sense anything down their so you must remember the opponents position. Also if an opponent figures out your underground your severely handicapped because you will be unable to perform any jutsu while underground. While rising from the ground though no opponent will be able to notice a disruption since its very silent. Its a great assassination type jutsu.

Jutsu 1

Perform the technique: Upon hearing senpai's instructions i begin gahtering a fair amount of chakra and using chakra manipulation i transform it into Doton. when i have the right amount i release it into the ground infront of me by slamming my hands to the ground, creating a wall of earth infront of me as a shield
Creative uses/strengths: A great protection techinque against water, fire and projectile techniques. Very fast to perform and requires no handseals
Drawbacks/counters:Biggest drawback is that you cant see through it and that leaves you open for attacks from diffrent angles. other than that i dont see any. also theres no counter since its not an attacking technique.


Jutsu 2

Perform the technique: i begin by gathering a great amount of chakra and manipulate it, transforming it into doton. when i have the right amount i release it to the ground, creating a river of mud infront of me, that goes up to longrange
Creative uses/strengths: can be mixed with diffrent elements. water to make it flow faster, fire to make the mud hot or even make it flame and burn the oponent. also goes up to longrange
Drawbacks/counters: Very easy to evade since it doesnt have that big width. can also be countered with a raiton technique or wind to change the flow direction of the river.




Jutsu 3

Perform the technique: I gather a great amoount of chakra and manipulate it, transforming into doton. when i have the right amount i release it to the ground below me and merge with it,hiding underground and moving around, inviisible to above sight. after moving around a bit i silently rise from the ground without leaving any trace whatsoever in the earth.
Creative uses/strengths: Very silent technique, great to evade techniques. very good in order to avoid above techniques and moves quite fast.
Drawbacks/counters: the biggest drawback is that the user is not able to sense what is going on above and has to rely on memory. also this technique leaves one open for powerfull earth jutsus. the user isnt able to perform any techniques undeerground either.

Description: The user will first perform the required hand seals Rabbit โ†’ Boar โ†’ Rat โ†’ Horse โ†’ Tiger โ†’ Snake and slamming the hands on the ground, the user can, by flowing concentrated chakra into the Dragon Veins flowing underground, tear the earth apart, creating large chasms by raising the earth in two oposite sides in the desired location and then splitting that piece of earth through the center. The length, width, direction, and curve of the chasm are all up to the user. Manipulating the Dragon Veins requires fine chakra control, but if one has such skill, they can use this technique to divide the space between the enemy and their own team in two, destroy enemy camps or defences, and even to attack.
Note: This does not split the earth appart directly to cause opponents to fall in the fissure.

After doing the required hand seals and placing their hands on the ground they concentrate chakra into the dragon veins of the ground and split the ground apart. The user has full control how and where they want the earth to be torn, this is very efficient jutsu to change the terrain in your favor. For example splitting the ground between you and the opponent this can stop a fast opponent from getting in close as well as push them back. A problem with the jutsu is it takes some time to perform as well as execute, this can easily leave you open for attacks. If their is a dramatic terrain change you can use this to manipulate it in your favor. As shown in the anime the trees were filled with Amaterasu flames, Yamato split the earth apart where they flames where so they can bypass them unharmed. Depending on how much chakra you add the larger it will be.

Description: After performing the snake โ†’ Seal of Confrontation and then by encasing their arm in rock, the user can deal a powerful hardened punch against an opponent while being protected from direct contact with their target. If necessary, the weight of the rock can be increased to further increase the punch's destructive power through the Earth Release: Added Weight Technique or the Earth Release: Super Added Weight Technique.

Okay the user will send doton chakra through his arm encasing it with pure rock. With it the opponent is able to block techniques as well as deliver hard punches. Great for short range battle and simple to use, its purpose is simple as well. It has two hand seals. Your speed on the arm though is slowed down due to the extra weight. Also when you progress through doton you will be able to learn to specific techniques which can increase your weight and have a more destructive punch.

If necessary, the weight of the rock can be increased to further increase the punch's destructive power through the Earth Release: Added Weight Technique or the Earth Release: Super Added Weight Technique.

Okay the user will send doton chakra through his arm encasing it with pure rock. With it the opponent is able to block techniques as well as deliver hard punches. Great for short range battle and simple to use, its purpose is simple as well. It has two hand seals. Your speed on the arm though is slowed down due to the extra weight. Also when you progress through doton you will be able to learn to specific techniques which can increase your weight and have a more destructive punch.

Perform the technique: Upon hearing senpais instructions, i gather a huge amount of chakra in my body and perform the nescessary six handseals, at the same time, using chakra manipulation i transform my chakra into Doton, before slamming my hands to the ground, releasing my chakra and gathering it in the veins of the earth and causing the ground about 10 meters from me to split apart.
Creative uses/strengths: A great technique that can go up to long range and be used practicly anywhere in the field. Not sure about this part but it may be possible to use this beneath a watersource (lake, river etc) to split the ground below, sending the water deep down and out of range for the enemy to use.
Drawbacks/counters: Not sure there is a way to "counter" since the technique itself dont attack the oponent, its more of a supplementary but the biggest drawbacks would be the six handseals.



Perform the technique: I gather a great amount of chakra and perform the one nescessary snake handseal as i, at the same time manipulate my chakra and transform it into doton. as i have the right amount i release it a bit away from me on the ground by slamming my hands, causing the ground there to slightly shake and simoultaniously causing chunks of rock to appear.
Creative uses/strengths: A great technique for a combo, for example possible to distract the oponent, making them focus on below whilst you attacking from above. also a great midrange technique, simple and fast to use
Drawbacks/counters: donot really cause any major damage to the oponent, mostly used for distraction purposes, and the technique only goes up to midrange so depending on where the enemy stands, it may be less or not effective at all.

Perform the technique: I gather a fair amount of chakra in my arm and perform the nescessary handseals before transforming my chakra to doton, by using chakra manipulation. as i have the right amount i release it to my arm and surround it with harden rock as its covered i rush towards a dummy and punch it with the same hand, causing major damage to it.
Creative uses/strengths: A great offensive technique, able to crack a few ribs or so if striking the right place. at the same time a good defenceive one too, can be used as shield against kunais, shurikens and minor sword slashes etc.
Drawbacks/counters: Enemy can, for example by using a chidori or raikiri, chop of the entire hand if user is uncarefull and the weight of the rock will probably slow the users speed down.

Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Ram โ†’ Dog โ†’ Rat โ†’B ird is able to create a wide tunnel in the ground, this cannot travel through rock though or anything with a high density. The large tunnel that is created allows the user to transport others without detection.
Note: The initial entry of the technique is short range.

The user will perform 4 hand seals and create a hole on the ground which is a tunnel that can run long range. It can't though travel through high density rocks or material. So using it in mountain type terrains would be impossible. Using it on soil or a field is best. Now you can move through this tunnel but its not like hiding like a mole. You will not sense anything going on from above through a magnetic wave. You can though send the tunnel towards any area on the field. Its good to send clones or small summons through to set up a combo attack.

Description: After forming the necessary seal Snake, the user creates two walls of earth and traps their target in between them.

The user will summon two normal sized earth walls in each flank of the opponent which come together not to crush but trap them restricting their movement, then you can send a finishing attack. Rather basic, the walls move at a fast pace, and the user needs to do one hand seal. The opponent can still however counter it even if they are caught it restricts only movement nothing more. Very simple but nice to use in combos.

(Doton: Hokoriheki no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Dust Wall Technique

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the ground and with a wave of their arm or through the application of a weapon can cause a small wall of dust particles and sand to rise up from the ground and thrusting forwards. This technique creates a simple dust screen that will fade away after 3 turns.

A basic defense jutsu, the user will manipulate the debris on the ground to rise by a wave of the hand to create a dust wall. It is simple enough to protect the user from projectile techniques. If an opponent comes to close you can use it to force him back because if they get to close to the wall it has a type of property able to push someone back some meters. Lastly since its made of dust you can see through it. After summoning the dust screen it will remain for 3 turns before it fades away, it can block the vision from you and you're opponenet. This will be advantage because you can use a snick attack right after you summon the dust. Its a little larger then the opponent.

Perform the technique: I begin by gathering a fair amount of chakra in my body and once i feel that i have the right amount i manipulate it, transforming it into doton. At the same time i perform the 4 nescessary handseas and after that, i release it into the ground below me and create a deep and far tunnel that reaches about 15 meters forward. i take the tunnels path and appear at the other side.
Creative uses/strengths: I would basically use it for summons or to set up traps or sneak attacks. Kinda like how Kakashi did against Zabuza with his ninken, although that was annother technique. this technique also goes up to long range so that is good.
Drawbacks/counters: well the biggest drawback is the 4 handseals but also the fact that you cannot use it in high density fields. annother dissadvantage is that you, whilst in this tunnel, dont know what is going on above you, since you cant sense or feel it in any way, this basically leaves you open for any type of surprise attack.


Perform the technique: I begin by performing the nescessary snake handseal and then i gather a great amount of chakra and, by using chakra manipulation, transform it into Doton. then i release it, creating two thick walls of earth by applying shape manipulation, trapping my oponent in between them and restricting their movement.
Creative uses/strengths: A great technique that goes up to midrange. can be used as a setup for a finishing technique. you can also use it to trap multiple oponents.
Drawbacks/counters: a way to counter it would be to perform a powerfull raiton technique like chidori and break through the walls, cutting them open. this technique only goes up to midrange though, so the oponent cant be too far away.

Once i feel that i have the right amount i release it into the ground infront of me and swing my arm, causing the dust and sand from the ground to rise as a slightly big, see through, protective wall infront of me.
Creative uses/strengths: A great technique to use against projectile weapons and minor taijutsu moves, also as a wall too keep the oponent away from you. The biggest advantage would be that you can see through it and always have eyes on the target.
Drawbacks/counters: You can only rise the wall up to midrange from you so you cannot raise it infront of an oponent who is standing far away from you. The technique itself is also quite weak and cannot protect you from too powerfull attacks.

Description: The user manipulating their chakra will point their palm or fist at the opponent, creating a large rock on it which he then sends at the opponent. Alternatively, the user can "spit" the rock. In this case he will spit a large globule of mud which hardens mid way towards the opponent into a large rock.

Basic technique the user will simply use the earth to raise a huge rock and sends it at the opponent. This technique is projectile based and very easy to perform as well as quick. Its combo friendly as well as its able to go a very long range. Its easy to counter though and straightforward jutsu. If you have no earth source you can just spit out a large mud sphere which hardens to rock mid way pushing the opponent back.

Description: The user manipulates their chakra and creates a huge rock from the ground that will rise up, hammering the opponent by slamming it down from above them.

A quick jutsu to use, the user will summon a huge rock from the ground to rise up, which he then begins to control and sends towards the opponent from above. He then sends the rock to crash down upon the opponent. Its a very good jutsu to use for attacks above but you must keep control of the rock. The rock is moves at a normal pace and the performance of the jutsu is quick. Its great to distract the opponent while using this technique, also to counter it best to try and attack the rock before it comes close to you. Huge downside to this jutsu is you can only move the rock up to short range and that is dangerous for a opponent who is strong with taijutsu can easily get to you qith quickness.

( Doton: Josho Iwa ) - Earth Release: Rising Rocks

Description: The user claps their hands together and then unleashes two huge rocks from the ground on either side of the enemy to send the opponent flying backwards.

Very similar to the technique. The user claps their hands and unleashes two huge rocks from the ground on each side of the opponent that appears anywhere close to the opponent, it acts to try to attack the chin or any other area around them. The impact can cause the opponent to fly back in the air. As said before they are left vulnerable in the air, they rise quite quick and the opponent can sense the density happen in the ground before they officially rise so they can anticipate an attack. Difference is you can only use it up to mid-range the most.
