Don't care why his body is still visible, manga already states that Obito isn't there when he is intangible. That's all there is to it. Yata can't block something that isn't there.

His body is visible. You can't just say he's completely gone.

Thats the question. I'm thinking it doesn't have a true form. Rather it just takes on whatever form is necessary.

But then if it has no form wouldn't Kamui technically be useless against it? It may leave an open window or a little while but only for Yata Mirror to return? But at the same time if Yata Mirror has no form then it wouldn't have any affect but it would on the user? Thats whats always puzzled me

You don't understand Kamui. Obito's entire body is always in the real world when not in contact with anything. However, a contact with something, that part will be transferred to the other dimension.

You are assuming Obito becoming a ghost with his jutsu when it isn't. There is no such thing as his body's replica is in the real world. The part of his body that transferred to the other dimension has no sort of incorporeal copy of it in the real world.

Yata Mirror can magically transfers to Kamui dimension because it's supernatural??? LMFAO. Kamui is far from being a supernatural jutsu. A supernatural jutsu is something like Dan's jutsu.

I don't think so because it changes form. Once it changes to the necessary than it can effect the real world.

It has no form that means it's not permanent to any element.
Like normal shields are made of copper, iron etc... Yata can change it's form according to the opposing Jutsu
