There are chances that Sasuke could do it alone too if Hagomoro would have given him both the seals. That means there was a chance that Sasuke would felt left out again. He said that last time doing so resulted in Indra and Ashura's eternal rivalry and he wanted to avoid it this time around.

Hagomoro was concentrated on future beyond not just this battle.

Both of them had an edge over another at different points and both keep up with each other. It comes down to personality. Naruto inspires in different way.

I'm not sure about that. Naruto is not close to defeating her alone. If we are referring to latest hit he was able to land on her - it was probably result of the sudden anger and attack rather than a calculated move and Kaguya was out of it a bit. Changing dimensions and opening portals seem to take a lot out of her and they needed to recharge. Plus she had just dodged an attack from Sasuke and he still seem to be in charging mode. But it was just one blow. The battle is still on.

....No not at all. There is nothing to suggest Sasuke can even defend against Kaguya, let alone manage to strike her.When was the last time Sasuke had an "edge" on Naruto? When he cut that tree branch? Or was it when he manged to slice Madara, and then proceed to do nothing since then?
Call it bashing or whatever, but Sasuke has shown nothing to prove he is a vital component of this fight. Other than having a tatau that is conveniently needed to seal Kaguya.
If Naruto and Sasuke where competing then it's not even a close game at this point. But there not, their fighting Kaguya. Or at least Naruto is, I'm not really sure what Sasuke is doing. But it certainly isn't the same thing Naruto's doing.

She was too powerful and usually straight hits one hit KO would have been enough - not that many opponent were left out of by her tree to begin with.

The thing is if he was alone then that reduces her use of portals too. She needs to change worlds for him alone not to dodge two of them. That would increase difficulty for Naruto too. Would he able to cope then at his current level, we would never know for sure. If he had both seals and whole chakra from the Sage then I would guess he could.

Seeing all the naruto hate "retarded" threads and why is sasuke useless threads etc since 2am this morning(central time zone)...I'm quite amused but at the same time somewhat distraught at the fact that people really expect this manga to end with someone being equal to or stronger than the main character. It's rarely happens and never happens when the main characters name is the title of the manga.

Well the "hes the title character" argument is kind of weak. There are so many other reasons why naruto is stronger for you to use that.
