What I want is for Sasuke to bring about some kind of change to the Shinobi system. It's obvious that since the Sage blessed Sasuke with powers, the Sage is comfortable with whatever ideals Sasuke has now. Maybe Sasuke was vague and the Sage felt his answer was justified enough. But still, I think the Sage recognizes that Sasuke is someone who wants to change the world from what it is now. The corrupted system is what created sacrifices like Sasuke's brother, and shinobi terrorists like Obito and Madara. I feel that Sasuke wants to change all this, and I hope he's able to do so with the help of Naruto.
So to answer your question homie, I don't mind that Sasuke wants to be Hokage and to go a step further, I completely understand why he wants to. Sasuke wants to try and change this corrupted world and a high position may be needed. Sasuke knows this. Sasuke can redeem the way of the Uchiha by changing the way of shinobi. And think about it, Obito, Madara and Itachi are all deemed bad Uchiha yet Sasuke who was deemed bad at first is now helping save all of mankind, the whole planet depends on Naruto and Sasuke. Sasuke at this moment is changing how the Uchiha will be perceived after the war. Naruto and Sasuke cooperating can very well lead to an end of the cycle of hatred too, so it wouldn't surprise me if Sasuke became Hokage. In that way, Sasuke can achieve all his goals in a healthy manner.
