Lol I read somewhere (not saying the source is reliable by any means ha) that Kishi said only guys can have them. But I've never seen anything in the manga about a girl sharingan.

ok... there's been very little coverage on people other than obito, madara, sasuke and itachi so fair grounds to say they can't have sharingan? O_O

Sharingan must be awakened in the first place.. That could explain why some of them don't have it..
Plus,the spoiler you read about Sasuke Uchiha's family being on Danzo'o's arm was not confirmed..​

well sasuke's mom was said by kishi to be a jounin so they had women shinobi on the uchiha so they mite have sharingan aswell

Dude at this point with all of them dead it would be next to impossible to find out unless Kishi does something about that like a flash back or something. But I would think it is pretty safe to say that females would have gotten KG's

Its because the Uchiha were sexist and didn't allow the women to use their sharingan. Any woman caught activating her sharingan was sentenced to death.

maybe Sharingans passed only through Y-chromosomes (Maybe sasuke can revive sharingans back coz he 's male...) But from the fan-pics I've seen, a couple might argue that it might be the opposite... xD

Seriously though I think that the women might have had Sharingans, Its just that the Uchiha women as of now didn't really get that much coverage....

i think that since a clan is a family they cant bone each other or it would be incest and cause problems that only one parent can have a sharingan for example if a male member wants to be married they have to with someone outside of the clan and if its a chick vis versa so since its proven his dad has a sharingan i dont think his mom does and theres nothing in the manga that says her eyes are on there
