i think the transmigrants have nothing to do with awakening the rinnegan....naruto is ashura's transmigrant but he dont have senju DNA...if sasuke steals a piece of naruto's cells..will he awaken rinnegan?..i dont think so...but the established fact is that
an uchiha needs Senju cells to unlock rinnegan...even kabuto had this like hypthesis wich was proved to be true when edomadara unlocked rinnegan...

I still think madara awakened rinnegan in both eyes when implanted Hashirama cells.coz
1. His hairstyle covers his right eye much before he used izanagi.
2. I dont think Madara chose nagato to awaken rinnegan from him.
he chose him coz only an uzumaki can be successfully implanted rinnegan in both eyes. even obito couldnt implant both rinnegan in him. and if u see he was of hidden rain the land that has no future and was always in war. so nagato of hidden rain can be easily manipulated to dark side.
3. it never was about senju DNA. IF it was Madara never had to bite hashirama and go through so much pain to awaken rinnegan. He could just take any senju and get rinnegan and then to kill Hashirama. Besides so6p also told the same that mixing ashura and indras chakra awakened rinnegan.

plzz reread that statement said by hagoromo to naruto..when hagoromo said "madara mixed indra's and ashura's powers to unlock rinnegan" that was a lil bit said metaphorically...that was said generally...but spesifically.. an uchiha needs SENJU DNA...thats the detailed process of how to unlock rinnegan...

-if madara was wrong when he told obito that one can not unlock rinnegan unlock he has both senju and uchiha powers...he wuldve never unlocked Rinnegan...

-besides rinnegan..there are other forbidden uchiha jutsus THAT REQUIRE SENJU DNA..to be performed PERFECTLY...like izanagi...

You're stating these things arbitrarily. Manga never speaks metamorphically until proven wrong. I never speak about things without proof backing me up.

So, Occam's Razor, only transmigrants chakra is requirement to reveal Hagoromo's chakra. Else case, more Rinnegan would have been discovered in the long story of Senju Uchiha clan, and sadly for you, this is not the case.

the one who used izanagi against konan was MADARA...not obito......to perform izanagi PERFECTLY...senju dna is needed....and those who were unable to controll hashiramas' cells failed in uzing izanagi..like danzo..
