I just started watching one piece last night. I'm at the Luffy Vs Kuro fight at the moment

Just wait a couple of arcs, omce you get into loguetown and later alabasta it just gets better and better all the time

I kinda envy ppl who start Op because I'll never again be able to watch and experience it for the first time

I don't think 700 chapters is that much for a manga like One piece, the chapters are probably short because its a weekly manga, if I were to start reading it now I would most likely catch up very quick depending on how many chapters I read per day.

I understand what you are saying and i personally only follow one piece anime as i find it easier to watch than to read the whole chapters, thats why i quit reading naruto manga long time ago, im more than 20 chaps behind, i just lost interest, and with the fillers and what not it got boring. Luckily one-piece doesn't have much fillers.

They will skip every episode pre War of the Best and Basically start after the Time-Skip. By Chapter 1000, only real relevant thing that one would need to watch is
Luffy v Magellan
Ace's Death
Luffy v Robin Lucy (I know luffy going to fight CP-0 as well...so thats what will make it relevant)
maybe just maybe Ace v Smoker, Ace v Blackbeard.
Along with War of the Best
This i just my opinion

It will be their loss

But length is s stupid reason no to get into something, it's kind of the excuse of the lazy and the unwilling, imagine someone saying "I'll never get into Harry Potter because it has 7 books"

It takes about 10 minutes to read a chapter so: 750*10/60=125 hours

The Harry Potter books on average will take you about 17 hours so: 17*7=119 hours

A TV series like Friends would also take you about a 100h to catch up

It's sad to see length as an excuses not to start something because ppl are just too lazy

And ofc Op isn't the only example of this

For me it only takes 2 days to read all 7 books.(includeing normal sleep and stuff.) 3-4 days if I have work)

Its sad to see people who dont even try to enjoy something just because it is lengthly. They are just keeping their minds small and undeveloped, instead of opening themselves to whole new ideas and things they never imagined before.

Most Manga chapters ever in Manga

Goes to Hajime no Ippo... Over thousand chapters and still counting.

I finished the manga in 2 weeks 3 days, whiles working. It isn't that hard if you really wanna read it.

I read the whole 700

And think about it, it's only a chore reading it if they don't like it. If they get really into it then they'll have no problem going on

It's not that bad, I just started reading OP in April. I've been sorta slowly reading it and enjoying it little at a time. I'm on chapter 445. I read maybe three or four chapters a day throughout the week depending on my free time at work and how into the arc I am. I just download the chapters on my phone. Helps me get through the week while waiting on the new Naruto and Bleach chapter each week. I'm actually enjoying being able to read it all at once, I'm dreading the day I catch up to be honest.

I really do. Think about it, OP has 700+ chapters now and alot of people don't feel like starting it because of that. OP still has around 10 years left. What will the ones trying to get into OP do when it'll have 1000+ chapters?

Who cares I have no sympathy for these idiots who cry about having "too much" to read. Go back to Twitter and typing lyk ths sm mr cus that looks rell kull.

That doesn't make much sense to me, if you like something, surely a greater volume of it is better? In fact a lot of people wait say 6 months between chapters or anime and just binge watch everything they missed in a day or two. Some find it more satisfying that way.
