I really do. Think about it, OP has 700+ chapters now and alot of people don't feel like starting it because of that. OP still has around 10 years left. What will the ones trying to get into OP do when it'll have 1000+ chapters?

For people who watch the anime to get caught up with series, it can be troublesome but still doable. Which is probably why Toei has been doing this arc specials. I've heard rumors of Skypiea anime special.

People who have that "I have to catch up" rather than the "read and enjoy" mentality shouldn't be reading any lengthy manga in the first place. I will never understand that shitty attitude towards something, it just means there's more material to enjoy. Are you reading One Piece to say you read it, or to be entertained?

But length is s stupid reason no to get into something, it's kind of the excuse of the lazy and the unwilling, imagine someone saying "I'll never get into Harry Potter because it has 7 books"

It takes about 10 minutes to read a chapter so: 750*10/60=125 hours

The Harry Potter books on average will take you about 17 hours so: 17*7=119 hours

A TV series like Friends would also take you about a 100h to catch up

It's sad to see length as an excuses not to start something because ppl are just too lazy

than again, u have also people who prefer to read something when it's finished , and don't want to read only a chap / week
Could very well be after op end or naruto whatever that a lot of people will only begin readin at that point

when i watch a show, the sole reason i have in mind is how it will entertain me, and how it will compares to other mangas i've read, but i do agree, just to watch something and be done with it, just like that, just so you can go around and say 'I' you have seen one piece just to act cool<-----trust me they exist, i've met some.
