Is it possible to check through people's chat log in skype?

The title says it all.
Because there is a guy that's able to read all my IM's that I sent to people, and he know's anything I post.
This guy even goes to NB(I won't mention names) but this guy has no life other then reading people's messages.
So I'm asking you guys is it possible to check through people's chat logs? Basically it's hacking skype.
So what do you guys think?

Yes you can if you are working for police or government.
It might be possible to hack Skype and Microsoft servers it self but that will be a huge work and you will be in news.

The attacker simply has your password or installed a spyware or a trojan on your computer to monitor your IM chats.
