It's to close to the manga, and the terrible pacing is ruining Oda's story.

Not to mention its disgusting animation. I've see better fanimations.

Ideally One Piece goes on hiatus for 2 years and becomes a biweekly or seasonal anime (25 episodes a year).

It's been years since the thriller bark arc, you'd think technology would advance but if anything the animation has gotten worse.

I know my complaining won't help but I just wanted to complain. XD

Ye something has to be done, I normally don't complain and have never had problems but after FI things have gone down hill at rapid rate, PH and especially Dressrosa, it's really painfull to watch right now, but don't expect changes buddy.
A remake perhaps when OP is finished , we are lookin at something in 15 years so u have to suck it up for now :p
Luckily the manga is still as good as ever and getting better

funny how naruto allegedly has a better animation quality yet One piece is an overall better anime than it.

One piece is great as it is.

Yea Toei sucks badly

It's because so many ppl like Oda's manga so everyone watches the anime

It would be nice if the anime lost it's popularity so someone else got the rights or if some other studio (mad house plz) compromises and buys the rights from Toei and animates the not current arcs

Or ifbToei simply remade it deom the start with the same animation and pacing as the specials

Without fillers and the 8 minute intros they could animate what we have nowbin about 300 episodes

The anime might go on hiatus since Oda said OP will go on for another 10 years.

they wont go on hiatus, but at some point we might get a long filler arc, i just hope its on doflamingo's past, or fujitora, or even sabo.

If OP takes a 2yr break and becomes a seasonal anime then many fans would be upset. You're only looking at it from the perspective of those who want the anime to improve in quality but there are just as many people who enjoy it for watch it is and what it every week with no complaints.

At most I see OP going on a 3 month Hiatus, 2yrs would never happen considering how popular and how much money the anime generates

Yeah the animation sucks and does t gave a lot of rewatch ability to it. I just hate how they take a week off from making crappy animation.

The only thing the anime needs is madhouse and not Toei

One Piece deserves Madhouse quality animation, Toei Is too sloppy and inconsistent nowadays.

I don't mind the pacing it's just the animation (and choice of ost sometimes) that bugs me.

People who think even for a second that Op has any chance of going on hiatus are delusional.

Also for once and for all, pacing has been this for 9 years. It won't speed up because you suddenly caught up with the anime and you're growing impatient.

marathon watch all the episodes (of one arc), and you'll see that One Piece is an excellent weekly anime.

We shouldn't be marathoning the episodes just to enjoy it. I agree hiatus sounds a bit silly but a fairly long filler arc (roughly 25 episodes) after Dressrosa would help or maybe adding an ending? I have no idea why we've stopped adding an ending ( I doubt it's a budget issue). Look how long our recaps are, they're longer than usual. It's quite clear that they're dragging it out as much as possible. Oda does takes breaks quite often so it'd be pretty stupid of them to have only a 10-15 episode filler arc after Dressrosa. It's already worse enough that Dressrosa isn't getting the animation quality that it deserves.

Opening and ending never take time off the actual episode.

Dressrosa has been animated very well for One Piece standards.

People who are seeing animation of other anime like HxH or attack on titan can't expect that level of animation on a weekly show that has been running for 15 years. Toei started OP with this style and it will end with it. Just because it doesn't appeal to you doesn't make the animation bad.

You also completely missed the point about marathon the episodes, You can't give crap on every single episode when a story is carefully being build. If you look at the entire package OP always has one of the biggest pay offs of any manga.

Even the 'boring flashbacks' and 'stretched episodes' contibrute to that effect.
