[Discussion] My opinion on Fairy Tail.

To me, it's an ok anime... I got quite hooked in the Adolas arc, I really loved Erza vs Erza fight... but then after episode 92, I lost the drive to carry on with the series.. it took me so long to get to episode 103(one episode per week), then got a little more interested when Kagura was introduced... if it wasn't for her, I would ultimately drop it... since lately there was a lack of Zeref(best written character on that show), I like Erza and everything, but sometimes I get fed up of seeing her face.

As for the fanservice it really is unneeded, the whole friendship powers gets lamer as the series goes on... Erza vs Erza is a perfect example of skill, dynamics and intensity. I would have liked it, if they drop the friendship power ups and do more strategic fighting. I like Kagura simply because she kicks ass, focused on her goal and also wears something called CLOTHES. I may seem old fashioned or whatever, but that's my thoughts.

I just recently started watching One Piece and got hooked when Kid, Law appeared.
80 Episodes in 3 days
I can understqnd why One Piece is Leagues Above Fairy Tail. It may be way way way better, but Fairy Tail has everything I like.

- Dragons are awesome (Dragon slayer)
- Main character uses Fire (best element)
- badass Anime Female
- badass power ups (Lightning flame dragon - white shadow dragon, Iron Shadow dragon)

Just the perfect Anime for me therefore its my fav anime of all time.

Who cares about that?Like I said Each one as their own preferences.FT is one of the best manga out there.

Coming to your post,for that so called irritating fanservice,it is anime fault(Filler Fanservice).Manga is better in that category

Friendship theme - Many Manga//anime are using that...it is just that FT is using better in my opinion.The scenes where they say something during fight about nakama is heart touching
