[Discussion] Whitebeard is Stronger than Garp

So you refuse to listen to logic and common sense? Strongest man means he could defeat anyone 1 v 1.

Logic and Common sense tells you in the world of One Piece Strongest man means you can beat anyone? So there's no other sorts of races in One Piece no beasts or anything like that? No logic tells me Whitebeard had the strongest Devil Fruit not that he could beat anyone because of a title otherwise Ussop is soloing the universe with his 'God' titile.

Common sense tells me someone who was implied to rival the Pirate King (Garp) despite his old age would be able to beat someone who was old and sick (Which was stated to have affected Whitebeard's strength) with the exact same hype of fighting the Pirate king on even terms.

Stated > Implied. What? We have no clue when Garp and Roger fought. He (Garp) could have been in his prime for all we know. You just proved my point. Whitebeard was sick but he was still regarded as the worlds strongest man.

Answer this. If Garp was as strong as them then why wasn't he considered the world strongest man? Right after Squardo stabbed Whitebeard, Sengoku stated that he was still the strongest man. Who knows Garps strength better than himself? Sengoku. Also, WB was losing strength faster than Garp; being sick and all.

Well actually when he became Pirate King and conquered the Grand Line and New World he was dieing of a disease and was probably weakened a lot so you could say he became the Pirate King even though he wasn't at his prime so i guess not right? Garp and Rodger fought through out their careers.

Whitebeard must have been a beast with his DF+3 types of Haki, and Roger still was able to equal him and Still be the pirate king over Whitebeard.

means that there is a lot more to Being a haki beast like roger than we know.....Garp was also a Haki beast, think of that.

Technically he isn't. The DF is a part of him. I doubt he knew what kind of fruit he was eating when he got it. I really don't understand how anyone could think Garp > WB. Sengoku himself stated that WB was stronger.

I think whitebeard without DF can destroy an Island thats how real it is U_U.....Whitebeard had the power to destroy the world.....and a user is as strong as his devil fruit.....I doubt teach could destroy the world just because he has Whitebeard DF...the user has to be strong aswell. So its safe to say Whitebeards physical strength>>>>>>Garps U_U.

1-im not trying to take his DF away, is that other guy who is saying that he is Physically stronger than everyone EVEN without his DF.

2-but it was stated by Gol D roger( THE PIRTATE KING) himself, that him and garp "nearly killed EACH OTHER MULTIPLE TIMES"
a more credible source than buggy.

AGAIN....whitebeard was deemed the "world strongest man" not because of his physical strength, but because he had "the power to destroy the world"...as sengoku mentioned.
