Nope, I am not mad because people do not think like me. I am "mad" because people tend to lack the capacity to think at all. It's not about agreeing at all, but about choosing to see something which is not there.

I do not need to re-read any of it. I am fully aware of what happened in part 1 and recall his being nice at times perfectly well. He did care about them at one stage...but it was because Naruto got tougher than him that he decided to go down a dark path to gain new powers, at any cost. When he did that and got his powers, he decided to forsake everyone and behave like a little emo girl.

It wasnt just because naruto was getting stronger. He saw how far away he was in comparison to his brother, Naruto making tremendous strides while Sasuke seeing his goal so far away made if feel like he was going nowhere and that genjutsu Itachi put him under significantly reaffirmed Sasuke's hatred.
Sasuke felt that it was necessary to put his goal above all else in order to progress. That is y he left.
