[Discussion] Soo Sasuke's new powers suck...

Well paint me a moron for thinking he had reusable Izanagi. Obviously I should have been telling Kishi what to do because obviously he has lost all brain function.

So what Sasuke has a super substitution jutsu?

Lets analyze this:

Substitution jutsu:

Swap with a nearby object, high speed movement jutsu.

Space-time Substitution:

Swap with a nearby object at instantaneous speeds.

People having been saying its a super version of substitution jutsu. And I agree that's all it is.

Overall I felt this reveal was VERY weak. I believed that during battle Sasuke was warping and moving objects nearby without swapping his location.

Ergo I thought it was a localized genjutsu over reality, like a localized Izanagi that could control objects locations including himself.

Who else thinks that this ^ was a way better idea, and far cooler.

It's not the best thing the Rinnegan has to offer, but still, wouldn't you want to be able to "teleport"? Even if it is a short distance, it's teleporting. Come on people, TELEPORTING. It allowed him to reach Obito and Sakura... I see no problem with this jutsu.

It's not the best thing the Rinnegan has to offer, but still, wouldn't you want to be able to "teleport"? Even if it is a short distance, it's teleporting. Come on people, TELEPORTING.

Minato already could move instantaneously. Big whooop and he doesn't even need the Sages yin power. Not to mention it has far more applications. Talk about Kishi pooing on his fav character.

It's more than substitution. With this jutsu, Sasuke could theoretically throw a kunai at someone (so that it gets momentum), then teleport it right in front of them. This would not only catch them off guard, but it'd be an almost guaranteed kill. It has so many applications it's not even funny.

ppl here are over-interpreting the 'this is my power' phrase
they take it as his SOLE power , dismissing the possibility that it's just one of his powers .

The tomoes would limit the number of times he could use it successively, so yeah it would have a weakness.

For example Sasuke could throw his sword on the floor then swap with it when a person runs to him. Then the person gets stabbed by his sword and Sasuke can use his chidori spear to hit them in the back.

Or someone throws some objects at him and he swaps with them to surprise his opponent.

However if you have knowledge about how this jutsu works it could help you to deal with Sasuke's swap jutsu but this may not help you much.

Like if you try to stay away from objects then Sasuke could just throw a object at you and then swap with it.

Its teleportation and swaping.

Teleportation version has a "mark" like the FTG and it was shown when Sasuke was falling towards the lava and suddenly appears to Narutos side.

Swapping version has longer range and pretty much he can swap people and things to a desire location. Like Sakuras vest.


Think of it as Obitos eye. One tech has long range and the other has a shorter range.

It's pretty strong and useful regardless. Although, the fact that there's a
waiting time to prevent spam kind of makes it less good. If this was a jutsu
that could be spammed, then I would be really impressed. As is, its still pretty good though.

It's basically all the powers of the hiraishin within a short distance.

How is that not haxed??

The hiraishin is one of the most haxed Justu, Sasuke does it without a seal.

Its a good skill indeed but he got it from So6p and its very similar to FTG. Worst part about it is the FTG can/most likely will be taught to Naruto.

Compare that to what Naruto got from So6p ...the power of creation. Yeah...
