Am i the only one who thinks that OP anime has gone wayyyy downhill from what it was before?

The pacing is piss poor and i feel like ever since Dressrosa started the quality has went downhill aswell. I don't want this arcs final fights (mostly Luffy vs DD) to be ruined by this piss poor pacing. I hope they go on a looooong filler arc soon. Also, am i the only one who misses the old special effects? Pre-skip and during the beginning of Post-skip whenever a character used a named attack there would be a certain special effect on the subtitle..

Also, ever since Dressrosa started it seems like the art quality has gone way downhill. Am i the only one who notices these stuff?

Im thinking about taking a break from the anime and just stick to the manga until the arc fights start in the anime. Then i'll skip all these useless episodes and jump straight to the fight.

It's only a matter of time until the the anime will turn into 5 panels=1 episode. Yup, all we're gonna get is a slideshow of 5 colored panels, each lasting around 4 minutes.

Considering anime is the target of so many negative reviews by alot of people even here I should say no,you are not the only one :l

Imagine One Piece with SAO animation quality and actually good pacing,it would be so amazing.

I don't see any problem with that.I think that is best way to maintain for anime to not caught upto manga rather than having a Set of dozens of full filler episodes which are irritating & diverting from actual story line (Naruto) & (Bleach)

IMO the OP anime was only good during the Enies Lobby Arc, Sabaody & MF. I hope the OP anime gets cancelled so another studio can pick it up from episode 1 & give it the nice pacing that it deserves. F*ck these 2 hr specials that recap arcs, stupid censorship, high animation quality towards fanservice & pathetic pacing. We seriously need a hiatus (unlikely) or a long filler arc. I can only applaud toei animation for the nice OST's/openings/voice-actors/actresses.

Well people are going to watch it in Japan regardless of the animation quality. The bigger issue here is the pacing, then the animation. Yeah I agree, Law dodging Doffy/Fuji's attacks was just meh. I'm hoping the anime gets cancelled or goes on a long filler arc/hiatus.

The only good/decent episode was the Toy Soldier/Rebecca flashback. Hopefully they don't f*ck up the episodes that cover chapters 730 & 731.

Agreed though, the animation gets overlooked when it comes to episodes that focus on story development.
Although, I thought the scene when the Green Bit fight starts out was decent >___>

I don't watch it on a consistent basis, only every now and then when I get bored and feel like watching something... the fights are usually good imo, I was pleased with the Luffy VS Chinjao fight, and the fillers have really good animation. But that's probably cause I'm used to a certain other anime that begins with an N.

Maybe if I saw some of the better animation I would be able to tell the difference, any suggestions?

Well Naruto's animation is better than OP's, at least in the Dressrosa arc compared to the 4th ninja war arc. As for "better" animation fights/scenes, definitely HxH:
