I dropped fairy tail.

Man it is so boring now.. I had to drop it. the animation is horrible, after 1 year break it still has Pokemon quality,
I'm also getting tired of the fanservice and shit, latest episode I noticed myself skipping through it and I knew I had
to drop it at that point.

Who actually likes Fairy tail ? and why.​

I have dropped FT 2 times already and now I am just following the manga since I already have read that much and I can waste those 5 minutes on Friday. The animation is in my opinion a little bit above average, I have seen much worse. And yeah the manga is a lot better in terms of fan service (the amount is manageable).

I still watch it but mainly to get to the next arc. I still find it enjoyable, forgetting the past couple of episodes. The fight scenes and OST are pretty great. I don't really see any issue with the fan service though, except those cases where they overtake the plot.

The manga is awesome right now though. Great fight scenes and way more character development for Lucy. When E.N.D and Lumen Histoire are going to be awakened you know shit is going down.

I'd still give it a shot. When it comes to a series, I always try it first before making a judgement rather than just blindly following what other people think. Most people are just complaining about the Magic games arc, so they just say that the anime as a whole has no plot.
