You completely misinterpreted that gokage combo. Madara was absorbing the lightning + water combo fine, but he couldn't absorb Gaara's sand. If he stopped using preta path and got rid of the sand, he would be paralyzed by the lightning.

The manga doesn't even support the notion of chakra based attacks having any effect on Preta Path; for those not so intuned with the manga and don't know what they're talking about. Kisame wrecks Kakashi without the use of Kamui. Without the required fire power and ammunition; all of Kakashi's intelligents and tactics mean nothing in the face of the Tailess Tailed Beast. At best, this is a medium difficulty fight in Kisames favor.
