While I argued it was possible for him to Izanagi out the situation, I am not arguing that it is likely. Not because he couldn't, but because he wouldn't.

With 'We'll finally become one' etc he was most likely referring to all the shinobi he would put under the genjutsu.
The panel with Kaguya's Byakugan and Rinnegan being shown in the darkness does not have a speech bubble-- just a text box. It is possible she was responding, but I doubt it. If her plan was to take him over, she would just do it. She wouldn't give him a opportunity to react, however slim of one.

However, Madara could know much more than we think he knows.

This theory is badass bro. ignore the people who thinks otherwise, they hate Madara.

note: there's like an 80% chance of this happening. madara always has a fail safe no matter what. and kishi just introduced this a couple chapters ago and he likes to repeat things, so i can't wait till this happens.
