On topic: Frankly- the way OP fans try to hard sell the manga sometimes make them look desperate to get some support and readership. Asking everyone to be patient for some 350 chapters and that then it would get interesting.. Have you ever had a clingy guy or girl trying to get your attention despite being ignored repeatedly? Or ever encountered those door to door religious missionaries?

Secondly, every fanbase has some haters. And then some who won't be that impressed or besotted as the rest of the group.

Let it be and you will get less trolls. Not everyone is going to like the manga and yet many will and read it when they have time and inclination and some will turn into life time fans.

The least I can expect from people is criticize it once you read it fully or at least till Marinford arc. Criticizing manga before it reaches to halfway, shows immaturity of the reader and believe me Naruto can never be as good as One Piece in my opinion.
I won't force you to read it, but have one thing to say read manga, understand the plot and then criticize.

To be honest, it's usually the false statements that are centered towards the series that make the OP fans get "defensive" and it usually looks like they're trying to persuade people to enjoy OP. Examples of these statements are: "OP is so childish."

Most people enjoy OP during the along park or even before that not 350 chapters in. Which I'm sure is probably an exaggeration but I just had to state that from experience.

Honestly you cannot expect everyone to follow it half way when manga is this long. You either get a hang of it after a certain number of chapters or so or you don't. It has not really have anything to do with maturity but personal preferences. Why do you think Mangas are divided into so many genres and target certain audience in that bracket?

Well Cali got me into it and he never tried to make me read it. If he had I would haven't touched it. I simply asked for a new manga. He told me to try OP and I had watched the show till Nami joined crew even before that and then some. I told him I found the anime boring and he asked me to try manga instead and I did.

And the part for future use was kind of an inside joke for that person alone. I was pretty clear with the rest of the part and if you don't get it yet there is nothing else to say.

I know people are impatient and don't have habits of reading long mangas and all that stuff, but I know RL friends who read this manga in one week, so it isn't like it is boring or anything. Actually OP isn't that much long, it is of about 750 chapters and I am expecting them to follow Manga till say 400 chapters because if you don't know core of manga what gives you right to criticize it?
If you don't like long mangas just stay away from them and don't criticize them as well, because you don't know about them.
For example, if I don't know about Brazil's tactics and game play strategies, what gives me right to criticize their manager's decision of substituting a player? Personal preference is entirely different context.
I know not everyone can like every manga and hence they are divided into genres but if you don't like a genre don't read it.
Whenever I start a manga, I take overview of the plot, read comments by people, go for chapter length sometimes and then decide what to do, that is my procedure of making choice of manga.

I know some do it, but it personal choice whether you want to read manga or not, it can't be decided by someone else, if you find boring in midway just don't read it, but don't call it bad as well.

The future reference part is a joke between her and Yo Yo Momma San. Don't bother with it. The rest was a normal comment about what happens between haters,potential readers and OP fans in this section i.e. haters complain OP is no good, potential readers worry about the length and whether they'll enjoy the series or not and fans ask them to go on reading until a certain part(even if the reader thinks the current part they are on is not interesting) of the series from where OP becomes truly amazing.
