I said that because it makes perfect sense since even the Byakugan can be tricked into believing a clone is the real one by giving too much chakra to one clone. I reread Naruto vs Neji now and didn't found a real indication for that. Seems we are back at point A. Chakra is divided as long as Kishi tells otherwise

Didn't kabuto know that the clone fighting madara was a clone and not the original though? I'm still confused on how a clone can't be distinguished yet people distinguish them even though the chakra is distributed evenly.

That seems to be a function of the level or kind of sensor a person is. Kabuto was using senjutsu. We know senjutsuusers have great sensor skills. Someone like him Karin, or naruto might be able to tell but since hyuga see chairs specifically it's probably particularly difficult for them. It's probably how the Charles feels and not how it looks is my best guess

Actually Madara is confirmed to be able to distinguish Naruto's clone with his eye power.

He was also able to distinguish Hashirama's Mokuton bunshin during the old days.

It's fishy how a Byakugan has difficulty telling clones but EMS can. I think he was able to deduce Hashi clones because of his fighting style and potential

It also depends on the circumstances. Like when he was destroying the Jukai Koutan Madara used before, he needed an Oudama Rasengan barrage.

Naruto could also perform high chakra level jutsu even when he was divided already. Remember when he used 7 Bijuudama Rasenshuriken before.

Naruto's original can't either. Ones needs to eat and rest to obtain stamina. Chakra is kneaded from stamina. Read Chapter 90.

The reason it is more of a diversion jutsu is because like you said, the clones can go poof after experiencing strong enough hit. But that's just its weakness. That's the main reason it is not really suitable for final blow.

That doesn't mean it's weak. The clones still have the chakra and stamina to fight. It is just the same as depleting your chakra on your own without using clones.

When you still have enough energy, you still can fight.
