Why do people think Kabuto> Itachi

Didn't kabuto have counters for everything against itachi, bar izanami? I mean it took both Itachi and Sasuke to fight him.

Kabuto > itachi but also itachi > kabuto.

itachi can near enough beat anyone simply because of who he is, he is calm, quick thinker and knows when to move. Hes a formiddable opponent because its not his strength that gets him the win but his intellect skills. Kabuto should and would of won but when up against itachi he just out smarts anyone and thats also why hes hated.

Like minato. Ftg and rasengan and he solos armys. Nothing else needed where as madara for example uses that meteor shiz.

Yeah I agree with you, Itachi specifically said he can't kill Kabuto because he had to release the Edo Tensai. Some people may mention at one point Kabuto had sliced in half Itachi however wasn't that because Itachi did that to take a blow for Sasuke? If not Itachi was edo tensai anyway so there was no point in trying to block a non fatal blow.

Kabuto wasn't trying to kill. He was trying to reprogram Itachi and capture Sasuke for experimentation.
