Just noticed something while going through some threads.

One Piece and the war at MF seems to be the only war out of the big 3 that isn't talked bad about. It seems from reading posts here that half to more than half of the Bleach audience dislikes their war(idk why though) and about half of the people or more here seem to hate the 4th Shinobi war as well. What is it about these wars that you dislike so much and/or what is it about the war ot MF that makes it so much better in the majority's eyes? I'll admit I got tired of the 4th Shinobi war after Obito became a Jin but before that it was a good war and Bleach's war hasn't even really started yet everything up until now felt like skirmishes, the real war is about to begin with Bach vs Soul King.

Now that I post this I'm sure people will start posting bad things about the war at MF, it's no surprise people love to trash popular things so they can feel like they're cool. I got no time for you too cool for school fools.

bleach war = pretty epic so far

never really got into OP so cant really compare.

maybe the wrong term but twists such as.
black zetsu being mastermind
obito becoming 10 tails jinc then survirig "sure death" multiple times then madara becomes the jinc gets 2 rinnegan starts IT and gets one shotted by a pile of black goo
and the list goes on.

the war is still good imo its just not as amazing as it could be.

the naruto one is obvious , Lol.

the bleach is like , hmm... is too slow and you barely have the plot going forward lol , in one piece you were seeing the goal and the characters doing their hardest , in naruto is just like... you have 4 main characters , kakashi , sakura , naruto and sasuke , so why do we still have only 2 characters fighting and the others not? really -.-

I kind of agree that after the Juubi Jins happened the war felt different, but I thought the first part where they battled the edo's and WZ's was good.

MF is hands down the best war arc, like you mentioned but what made it even more crazy is that Oda said that the final war arc would make MF look like nothing. Also Oda never intended on making MF this big, it was just a side trip for him.

Anyways, answering your thread. The Naruto final war arc doesn't seem to deliver for me. It just seems like it's just a bunch of powerups and asspulls. I didn't like how Naruto/Sasuke got their free powerups.

I liked the whole idea of the 4th Shinobi war and I was rooting for it, but it fell off tracks for me somewhere along the way.

Marineford's success has a lot to do with how things turned out in Sabaody, Amazon Lily and Impel Down... It didn't feel dragged and gave a much needed closure to the chain of events which started back in Sabaody. Not to mention, Oda is really good at storytelling, especially when it comes to emotional stuff (I know that I have said it way too many times... Sorry)

I don't know if people care about the spoilers but just in case, Ill tag my post.

The series took a very different turn when Oda decided to separate all the Straw Hats back in Sabaody. They were literally separated for 2 whole years for us readers, similar to the time-skip in the manga. And since he didn't have his crew, he ended up teaming with a huge bunch of misfits and unlike Water 7's Franky family, the stakes were super high during the whole saga.
The new alliances included Kuja pirates, Ivankov's companions, Whitebeard pirates, Jinbe, Buggy, Mr. 3, Bon Clay, Crocodile etc.

Some other notable points:
* Luffy and Ace's flashback story.
* Sabo and Dadan introduced.

One thing that people often talked about was lack of actual deaths in One Piece (if we don't count flashback deaths). Villains usually get beat up or get locked in jail but no death. So, it was a very crucial point for the series as well as fans when Ace and WB died.

And finally, the time-skip.

Shinobi war was a troll. Kishi gets you all pumped from the speech and then the actual war is just a "hey remember this character" reunion.

The bleach war is predictable and just boring. Like the conversations are not interesting at, the fights are just old characters showing new tricks.
