Ivan's hormones to give Luffy energy but at the same time shorten his life, first time was when he saved Luffy with them, and then Luffy ate a bunch, second time is in the video.

impel down arc when Ivankov cured him from Magellans poison he lost 10 years of his life.

OT: 10 years i think and Lucci said gear 2 was shortening his life but it he seems to be more immune to it after the timeskip probably nothing now

Well for second gear it's not much of an issue post-TS, since Luffy doesn't go full body 2nd gear. It's pretty annoying how the animators still have Luffy go full body 2nd gear even now.

what do you mean :S? it's impossible to make one part of his body gear 2 because all he does it pump his blood faster which would affect his whole body. unless im wrong?

No....no. The tension hormones aren't what took ten years of his life, it was Iva's treatment for Magellan's poison. The energy shots don't do anything but cause a boost in fatigue once they wear off because you were exerting yourself. The treatment that takes ten years of his life was applied once.

He was shown in the manga using it on his arm only. Luffy's control has allowed him to isolate it to body parts rather than his entire body. The animators decided to lame it down a bit.

This is a key point in one of the biggest arcs in manga history and you didn't even notice it. You must not understand one piece at all
