[Discussion] For those who think Shanks wll die

How crazy would it turn out if Dragon kills him and how would you feel about it. You can make up any scenario you choose as to why. Maybe Dragon doesn't know about shanks and happens across him while Shanks and Luffy are reuniting with a battle, mistakes Shanks for a threat and that's how the fight happens.

Instead of mistaking, what if he actually kills him intentionally. If there was a Dragon and Shanks conflict, that'd be interesting to see how Luffy handles it and it'd make things interesting.

If Shanks dies it will be because of BB, it is possible that Shanks and Dragon know each other, be it from their power in the NW or maybe even from before Dragon became a rev, if Dragon was indeed a marine it is possible that he was one while Shanks was first making a name for himself

That's an awesome idea. Although if it did come to that there has to be a great reason for it, like the Revolutionaries are getting in the way of the Red Hair Pirates activities or vice versa.

I was thinking maybe Shanks really likes the idea of the checks and balances the three big powers provide and Dragon over throwing the WG would upset that balance so Shanks tries to stop him.

That was my main idea but I didn't think many people would get behind that so I figured I'd propose an incidental conflict to test the waters, glad to see someone had a similar idea as I did. Honestly I think Luffy would side with Shanks unless Dragon gets to spend some time with Luffy beforehand. Shanks is pretty much Luffy's hero and he's never technically met his father yet, so yeah I'd say he helps Shanks.

Yes, i've had similar theories.
That's a better thought. and plausible.

One does not simply "kill" Shanks. Especially not by Dragon, i mean think about it.

If Shanks dies, Luffy will be pissed and start hating Dragon even more than Ace hates Roger. If Dragon does kill Shanks then he'll become Luffy's enemy.
