Yeah, he made Smoker look like a joke how? Smoker could've and would've beaten Law if it wasn't for Law's warping ability! Smoker also deliberately lost to Vergo (VA that was defeating Sanji). So how is Oda making VA's look like a joke?

You should know by now that their strength ranges a lot. From Garp to Maynard. And there's normally a huge gap in power between the Admirals and even the strongest of Vice Admirals. So if Sabo can go toe to toe with an Admiral I don't see how he's made Bastille (or VA's in general) look like a joke.

You can simply say the power scaling of the New World is huge.

Doffy defeated smoker like your regular fodders are defeated.

Two year time skip was not only for the mugiwara but for others also. You would expect the VA to be a little bit stronger especially the ones in New World.

All i am seeing is VAs getting one shotted here n there as if that title was a joke.

after 2 years the boss va's such as the mexican dude and goro arms dude and momonga etc shoulda been admiral lvl by now.

I dont get why they are stuck with that strength if someone like smoker can upgrade into VA lvl. smh.

That huy isn't even a Vice-admiral, he is just a regular member of the giant squad.

The only giants in the war that were also VA were Lonz and John Giant (Both beaten by Whitebeard) and Lacroix who was beaten by Oz.

Luffy or any other strawhat never beaten a VA

I'd say he would still win but maybe with mid or high difficulty. Sabo was just out of his league. I said that already the reason Oda decided to switch Luffy with Sabo in the tournament to fight Burgess is because he would have never won the fruit. Sabo and Burgess are out of his league as well

Bastille was portrayed to be Maynard's superior and a great force by Doflamingo's officers. He is also a veteran vice-admiral that was called in marineford. He was fodderized this chapter not because he is weak but because Sabo is too strong. Sabo would fodderize Luffy as well. And Burgess who is around Sabo's level would do the same
