[Discussion] Luffy vs VA Bastille

Luffy would win but it won't be as easy as sabo did it. Luffy isn't on the level to where he can 1-2 shot VA's...at best it will be a mini battle where luffy comes out victorious without any real damage

Doffy defeated smoker like your regular fodders are defeated.

Two year time skip was not only for the mugiwara but for others also. You would expect the VA to be a little bit stronger especially the ones in New World.

All i am seeing is VAs getting one shotted here n there as if that title was a joke.

Didn't Doffy defeat Law in the same fashion? Both of these fights were off-paneled! On top of that Smoker had just let himself get beat to sh*t by Vergo to get Laws heart back. He wasn't exactly in a good state when Doflamingo arrived.

The VA's in the New World also work in Paradise. VA's are VA's. Va's will be stronger after the timeskip as well as weaker. But you can't say Smoker is weak since he's pretty boss, strangled Law in second, so if it wasn't for his warping (which was clearly an asspull by Oda to save him) then Smoker would've won the fight quickly.

Weak and Strong are relative terms.
smoker would be strong if compared to guys pre-time skip luffy fought but is weak if we look at new world (so many haki monsters).

What my concern is that VAs are getting fodderised so easily as if that title means nothing.
I was expecting it to happen but not so soon.

I do know that Luffy beat the Boa Sisters that had observation and armors Haki.

No they're not. If you've bothered to read the rest of the thread you would've known that as I explained it in post 15

The haki of those sisters wasn't impressive at all. Their bodies couldn't keep up with Luffy's speed.
