i would like to have a tournment on NB but as other people have been saying, all atempts to do something like that failed so if this is going to be made, it needs to be done right, just like Riku said on that huge block of text O_O

Ok, let's try this one more time: Who's running it? You still haven't answered the question, all you've said so far is that you're not. I can't see anyone forming a complete opinion without knowing who's going to run it.
I am firmly against tournaments. Every tournament I have ever been a part of has either failed before it even began or just completely fell apart because of lack of leadership or the leaders fixing the outcomes and the points so that certain people win.
and with your idea to use Mods as the judges is not a good idea since most mods are pretty busy with work on NB, work in the RW and generally having a social life outside of the internets.
And if you don't have enough Mods to judge al the battles, who are you going to use and how are you going to guarantee that they will remain impartial?

As much as TCS isn't taking responsibility to this then I am the one running it. I'm sorry TCS but if you lack the actual ability of taking on this tournament to even say that you started it then your not fit to run it as the host.
The tournament will be run by many that will be asked for help and hopefully decided to help. I'm not saying hundreds but a few atleast. I'll try to get this so-called group together, but it won't matter untill we get 21+ yes voters.
I read all previous posts and they are all insightful with past experiences and proof that not only this will be nearly impossible to pull off but that in a way your saying we are wasting our time in trying. No offense intended towards everyone that posted and said no, but we (or at least I am) trying to get this to work because we want it to. Not to prove something, or to try to get something out of it. Tournaments are fun to me and the way that I wanna set it up will have most people have a fair chance in the tournament.

We understand that, but you must understand that you guys haven't yet the experience to fully run it: neither you nor TCS. I do not mean offense, but I don't even think that you guys have participated in a tournament yet, I don't even think you guys have really had any HIGHLY notable battles yet. You're just not quite ready to host a tournament, perhaps you have the motivation, but without the experience as well as the skill to be able to properly judge a fight, as you apparently will be at least one of the judges, there isn't any point. Someone else needs to be the main leader of this, if you go through with it. But once again, refer to my other post for the other things that you must consider before going through with this.
All in all I would like this to happen and it's not like I don't know that already riku.. I have no naruto battle tournament experience, but I do have Tournament experience. I will say the truth that I'm still pretty much a newb compared to many on this site, but the more experienced members are people I would want to help with this tournament. It really is a team effort and if there is no team then this shall really fail as well as the other past attempts. I would like this to happen, but it can only happen if people would help it get started and then finish it.
I'm not saying mods, since they would be also an asset to this tournament, and not even senseis (you are totally welcomed to join though). Well, that's basically what I meant in the first post I made. xd Not mods though, as I said, relying on mods for anything in this tournament will be a downfall, they simply won't have time. The most you should ask them for is stickying and closing certain threads, possibly editing the post of a closed thread every now and then. It truly would not be great for a mod to judge, as it'll take longer than for an experienced member to judge simply because of the difference in how busy they are.
Yeah I've consirdered that, but I always consider all options in big projects. Mods are well equipped, but are either busy with other matters and plus they have lives like everyone else. Sensei's would be one of my second choice for judges since they obvously know everything or almost everything about the world of battling, but the same thing as mods. They all have lives, they train members, battle with people, and try to still have a social aspect in Narutobase. I saw kaito juggle 5 memebers with training, 2 fights, participated in a judging for 1 thread, and talked to 3 people (including me) 1 time. That is just simply multitasking to the max.
The normal RPers that I see are like Minato, Karabi, tenzox, ect... (sorry if i misspelled anyone's name). There is more I just wanna say a few so it's noticable some way.
Minato and Kirabi would do ok I suppose. =/ But the two that I truly recommend are Naruto, Lord of Kaos, and Hasashi. If they have time, those three could probably be the best judges, better than at least some of the senseis. :|

I understand there are others that can be better or the same level of judges as the ones I posted, but I just posted those since I see them battle a lot atm. Either way I'm glad that you gave me some things to go on for how to even attempt this tournament and I hope I can make this happen. it would be really hard to setup, I tried to make a roleplaying game with just a pen and paper................it did not end well, it's the same concept, you cant make a video game out of text.

1. Don't yell at people that give their opinions for this thread.
2. Thanks for the judging complement.
3. Tournament hosting and preparation take a long time TCS.
4. There are always people that RUN THE SHOW of a tournament and they are considered the host(s) or leader(s).
5. I'll wait for the rules to pass judgement on what these regulations are good or bad.
6. The difference between our experience is that you limit your battles to the nail. I battle in a more broad way of doing things. Though that is different the difference between our experience and of the higher leveled, senseis, bijuu, ect... is that simply... They know more, understand more, battled more, and even taught more than us. We have low experience compared to them.
