Kakashi and Itachi are around the same level in Taijutsu, but Itachi is by far faster. Kakashi merely fought a clone with 30% of his actual strength. If you want to see Itachi's full potential, look at how he was keeping up with Bee; being so fast that we saw nothing but a shadow moving and turning circles, covering a noticeable distance in an instant. That short combat between Kakashi and Itachi isn't a measurement for Itachi's skills.

In their first encounter, Itachi wasn't even sweating while Kakashi showed Itachi his utmost respect and hyped him, he was chanceless.
30% chakra not strength. It was legitly Itachi just that he only had 30% chakra to use.

Itachi only had access to 30% of his chakra. All of his other physical aspects stayed the same.

Well yea, Itachi's foot speed is faster. It won't really do much in a cqc encounter though, unless he is backing of like he did against bee. Kakashi has raikiri , rasengan, and at least the first gate for close quarters.

Not sure why kakashi vs. Itachi is being brought up anyway..

He still wasn't serious at all and did nothing but holding them back. Their first encounter showed the gap between Kakashi and Itachi, Itachi is far superior. Against Kakashi, they left it at a short Taijutsu combat. They are around the same level in Taijutsu, but Itachi on the other hand is by far faster than Kakashi. Look at Itachi's and Bee's combat, where Itachi was so fast that he suddenly appeared behind Bee and moved so fast that you could only see a shadow moving and turning in circles.

Anyway, that's not Kakashi vs Itachi.

In part1 it was a ninjutsu battle when in part2 it was a taijutsu battle. Know the difference. Besides, it was actually closer than you make it sound. And of course, the manga stopped in part1. I also like the non-serious Itachi argument

This old argument? Its already been established too many times to remember that Minato wins. This should not have gotten to 6 pages

Coming from someone hating on the hypes given to Itachi, it's not wonder you would spew a BS like this.

More like the other way around. Minato's new feats in the war arc were just too much.

That was BM Minato who is trillion times stronger than base.

Look at the Databook, Kakashi's stats didn't change, what means that his skills remained the same. Having more screentime doesn't make his skills better, his skills from pt.1 in pt.2 remained canonically the same. Kakashi admitted inferiority to Itachi. Kakashi even shits his pants seeing Orochimaru, while latter is no match for Itachi.

1- Part1 Kakashi also admitted to be out of shape(so weaker than before)
2- Kakashi went from 4 in taijutsu in part1 to 4.5 in part2(the same as Itachi)
3- The Kakashi who admitted inferiority to Itachi was nowhere near war arc Kakashi's level
4- Kakashi could counter-blitz V2 Jinchurikis with Rinnengan shared vision and Sharingan precognition. Itachi's little scuffle against a Naruto who didn't even want to fight pales in comparison
