The logical case for why Madara Uchiha is alive

First of all, it's Madara Uchiha. This guy's done some pretty BA stuff in the series. Plotting his own resurrection, bringing himself back to life twice and summoning meteors. Owning all 5 Trollkage. Nearly killing Naruto and Sasuke. Owning Hashirama. Owning all 9 TBs.

It's hard to believe a guy as boss as Madara is going to get one-shot'd by Black Zetsu. Let's look at what has to be true if Madara is actually dead/absorbed.

1) Madara, a world-class egomaniac, did not recognize what wasn't his own chakra in BZ after 'creating' him

2) Madara's straight-comma EMS wasn't able to recognize a difference in handwriting between Hagoromo and BZ, despite that in part 1 a 1-tomoe sharingan was able to do so.

3) Madara had no contingency plan for "dying", despite having one twice before. He inexplicably didn't use PS or Izanagi? Sorry, seems a bit off. Why not sacrifice Kakashi's sharingan to Izanagi out of it?

4) Black Zetsu is stronger than all 9 tailed beasts combined, the Juubi and EMS Madara with sage jutsu, mokuton, hashirama DNA and the Sage's power.... Um, I call BS on that alone. That just makes absolutely no sense

5) Madara sacrificed Izanagi, but somehow still had 2 Rinnegan when he summoned the Mazo. Wait, what?

6) BZ was modifying the Uchiha tablet like it was freaking Shinobi Wikipedia. Yet nobody ever caught on? Um... whatever.

7) S06P and his brother essentially betrayed their own mother and locked her chakra and the Juubi into the moon. Wouldn't Madara have researched that or something? Or at least, Orochimaru?

8) If Kabuto knew BZ, why not just use Madara's Edo Tensei to go capture Sasuke and take his body? This is more of a general plothole...

My issue is this... Kaguya as Final Villain seems really contrived. The fight seems really not so epic and she just isn't a strong character due to lack of dialogue. Madara got built up for over 350 chapters, so I think it'll be a real insult to the character if he's actually done this easily.

My issue is this... Kaguya as Final Villain seems really contrived. The fight seems really not so epic and she just isn't a strong character due to lack of dialogue. Madara got built up for over 350 chapters, so I think it'll be a real insult to the character if he's actually done this easily.

You can't believe that there was someone far stronger than Madara, who could even mimic chakra frequency... oh wait, it was already told that Zetsu had this ability.

Madara is still alive, he probably knew what BZ was planning but went ahead with it because there end goal is the same, but once Kaguya changes because of Naruto and Sasuke, Madara will show up somehow

Madara knew that BZ was up to no good. If Hashi saw BZ at the valley of the end, chances are Madara did too. I think Madara wouldn't be so easily deceived by fake handwriting (can't Sharingan detect that anyways...?) Plus him having no backup plan in case of his "death" seems very un-Madara like. Then we're left with the fact he told Naruto that "I am immortal". Seems like he wouldn't throw a statement like that around lightly.

My theory is this: Madara planned to get absorbed all along. That way he could steal Kaguya's chakra and power, eat the fruit of the Infinite Tsukyomi tree and rule over the world as an omniscient God. Or possibly, Madara is good and he wanted to save mankind all along by sacrificing himself. I think that'd be the biggest mindf**k Kishimoto could pull at this point.

It'd also explain his earlier statement to Hashirama "Do you see it, Hashirama?" and "I'm looking past this, to the real truth" after leaving the stone monument. My guess is this: Madara wanted to save his clan and realized they'd been used as pawns by Black Zetsu. This is about revenge to Madara and about killing Kaguya, and thereby saving mankind.

Or possibly, Madara is good and he wanted to save mankind all along by sacrificing himself. I think that'd be the biggest mindf**k Kishimoto could pull at this point.

It'd also explain his earlier statement to Hashirama "Do you see it, Hashirama?" and "I'm looking past this, to the real truth" after leaving the stone monument. My guess is this: Madara wanted to save his clan and realized they'd been used as pawns by Black Zetsu. This is about revenge to Madara and about killing Kaguya, and thereby saving mankind.

...are you serious? That's a great twist, but was it necessary to bring down meteors to save mankind? (I like the theory, sounds mindblowing)

Kabuto may have been controlling him. More than likely Madara wanted to resurrect them after stopping the IT. I think IT will ultimately bring everyone back that died. Madara's just arrogant and trusts in his own power.

lets be logic..kishi himself stated that he dont kno how to kill Madara..wich is huge sign of madara probably eating the holly fruit and become invincible...also its a matter of course that some1 main villain character like Madara would't end thatquick in sudden...MADARA OF COURSE WITHOUT DOUBT WILL COME BACK.

Madara will probably come back as a good guy, once he hears the full story of how his plan was based off a lie he will realize that everything he has done was for nothing and try to make it right.
