Ultimately the best reason is "It's Madara". He's been written off many times. He didn't get any epic final lines. He has unresolved plot. I mean, NB is just bandwagoning again around Kaguya/BZ. Ya'll gonna get troll'd by Kishimoto this week again..

After what happened in manga i don't belive that he's one-shot dead.Madara is alive but heavily wounded.

n your 2nd point is totally wrong... BZ changed the stone writing in indra's era or may be even before....so madara never got to see hogoromo's writing....

BZ's statement in Japanese implies that he only changed a portion of the stone tablet. Meaning some of the Sage's original writing would remain. Oh well, doubt that gets explained anyways.
