hagoromo:"okay sons. i will now choose the leader of the new world that has to unite everybody"
ashura: "i understand father. i have the world behind me and know how to bring peace and i accept your decision"
indra: "im a shoo in! i walk alone i hate people i think power is more important and ill make a great leader of ninshuu which is about love!"
hagoromo: "i choose... ashura. he is on the right path."
ashura: "thank you father i will do my best to uphold your teachings"
indra: "FECK YOU DAD. IM gonna act like a BABY and POUT. ILL start an entire war that will RIP the world apart for all time! thatll you show i was the better choice!"

Hagormo only give Sasky power to avoid another one of these. he didnt want to make another war so he gave Sasky power out of pity and guilt. this scan say it all he really only want Naruto to continue ashura's work.

Well yeah. Thats what caused the hatred in the first place. Homo gave all his attention to ashura and not indra so to set things right he gave sasuke a blessing to.

It's fun to read though.

OT: Wrong, hagaromo already admitted he made a mistake. Stop twisting manga facts/making up bullshit to suit your shitty opinion.

Will of Fire = Pipe Dream for fairy tails.
Curse of Hatred = Realist belief.

If this wasn't a Shonen manga, the will of fire would never succeed.

So in your conclusion he made a mistake became if he gave it to Indra ashura wouldn't have argued and helped Indra . So in harogomo ignoring his older son he actually started this.

Errr.. and Black Zetsu manipulating Indra was just fruit of collective hallucination while reading the manga ? Thought so.

*i want kill whole village for my comfort* * i want put peoples under deadly genjutsu* * people are garbage if they dont have equals power to me * *power is the answer*.... it's ofcourse more realistic than will of fire . XD

From a non fan point both indra and ashira are right. From a realistic standpoint people will only follow someone with power you wouldn't put your trust in the fate of the world to some hobo would you of course not you'd choose someone with the strength to do it. With power madara accomplished his dream and did bring about "peace" in a sense of rather choose someone with the strength to do something than someone who doesn't have the strength it's natural human decision one with power can do many things. However from a moral standpoint ashura is right I'd choose a loving person ovr a douche any day to lead a loving person cares about you and will try everything to help you. In the end both are right btw indra was most likely cool about it pissed but cool about his bro getting picked up until BZ tempted him as stated in the latest chapter.

Neither will the curse of hatred. The Will of fire philosophy only fails in the real world because it goes against the other philosophies which basically encourage greed and selfishness and ruling through force.

Well, the curse of hatred wouldn't solve anything, would it? Let's keep in mind that hashirama's way was the most realist. "To protect something, other must be sacrificed, be it a close friend, a brother, or even my own child".That applies to real life.

Indra's way will only cause problems. We can see it through sasuke's "see problem, burn problem" ideology.

Madara has (correctly) realized that peace can never be achieved while people have free will. Pain realized this as well. Pain's concept of peace is the same as the model we use in the real world. Nuclear Deterrent is what we use now. True peace can never be achieved except in a fictional Shonen manga setting.

Everyone under the IT is in perfect bliss right now. They don't know it's fake so they're happy. That's true peace. Artificial peace, but true none the less.

Hashirama's way only encourages the Pain regime.

That's not entirely true either. The will of fire would fail because of the human nature that makes people seek power and control. It's our curse. That's why true peace(naruto's ideology) cant be achieved.

You undermine the work of magnanimous giants who made great strides like Gahndi, MLK, and Mother Theresa. Many great people believe true peace is reachable.

But I agree with OP on the grounds that Indra is a terrible choice. That way will never bring unity, it only breeds hatred and contempt.

You have to think about it though, even though madara had the curse of hatred he STILL accomplished what he wanted to do even if the tablet was manipulated harder than a Wikipedia source madara still accomplished the near impossible and have everyone perfect ecstasy. Hashirama's will of fire was good it established a system, and through that will all nations united but obito us right human beings aren't exactly the noblest and smartest of creatures we'd berate and do exactly what madara and obito were doing. Madara accomplished what he set out to do. From a realistic standpoint indra was right from a moral standpoint ashura was right both wanted peace they just had different ways of achieving it.
