Well do you want to have the choice of being able to enjoy playing lots of games for a year or two with the PS3 or get limited choices with a dozen or two for a while until PS4 games are released? Obviously more games will be out for the PS4 eventually. Up to you.

We've got both set up in our uni lounge with a decent sized telly and surround speakers. Quite the student life =D

Ok you want reasons cross platform games look better on the ps4 cheaper to play online then Xbox. Virtual reality coming to ps4 also the camera and voice commands are about the same in my opinion. Ps3 is a good system I still have my 60 gig original and a 320 gig that get used almost daily but for straight up games it's ps4 if you want it as a media outlet get the 3.

I think Revolution comes out on PS3 as well. The money you save from getting a PS3 could probably get you both.

listen in my opinion buy ps3 because it has many and many better game than after 3 to 4 years buy ps4 because by that time it will become cheaper and there will be many and better game to play

I got the PS3 before PS4 came out. My plan is to wait 2-3 years to wait for the PS4 to get slimmer & the original PS4 to be cheaper (hopefully around $200-$299). PS3 is cheaper now

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm revolution will be on PS3 and PS4. Honestly, PS3 is a better choice because its cheaper, there's no monthly fee for online (unlike the PS4 which charges you $5), the games are better developed and they're also inexpensive right now. Also, plenty of people still play PS3 so big online games like CoD and Naruto Storm 3 have a decent number of players on their servers even though the new generation is out.

I myself am waiting to buy a PS4 because new systems usually lack an abundance of good games right after launch. It happened with PS3 and 360, and it's happening again for Ps4 and Xbox one. The games won't start really improving until Fall/Winter, which is when some of the games announced at E3 will start to come out.

That depends, you can't jailbreak the super slims and some slims can't be jailbroken either, nor can you crack anything above 3.56 firmware, so it doesn't matter anyway. Xbox's are better for that matter.

I'd pick PS3

I agree....but I say both. If you have the money.
