PS3 or PS4 Need Help Choosing

I don't have any gaming console as of this moment. The only thing I have is a PS2. So I wanted to get a new console and I was thinking about Xbox but I am not fond of the idea of paying monthly to pay online and I accustomed to the PlayStation controls and I feel like Xbox controls would be hassle for me.

I decided on PlayStation but now I am stuck between PS3 or PS4. I'm kinda short on money so I was going towards the PS3 and the fact there are more games for it.

Sooo idk which one I should get... can you guys help me out =D

I got the PS3 before PS4 came out. My plan is to wait 2-3 years to wait for the PS4 to get slimmer & the original PS4 to be cheaper (hopefully around $200-$299). PS3 is cheaper now
So go with what's right for ya bro

If you're tight on cash and still want to enjoy gaming on almost the same level then PS3 but obviously if you don't mind spending extra then might as well update yourself with a PS4. You won't be missing a lot if you get the latter.

You shouldn't really get a PS4, or any next-gen console, for at least another year or so.

PS3 has a ton of games while PS4/XBONE is just starting off.

I would get the ps4 so you won't have to worry about it in the future. Simply put they will probably only keep making games for the ps3 for another year. While more games will be released on the ps4 for the next generation with the games getting better as developers learn more about the hardware.

It's more of an investment for the future...if you still plan to be gaming. And in 2015 they have a shit ton of games coming out for the next gen, and that's not far away.

you should hold off on getting a console for a while and save your money. Once more games for ps4 come out and there are deals on it, get the ps4. Not much point in getting a console that is going to be obsolete in a couple years unless there are games you really want to play on the ps3
