danzo was held back so hard in that fight.
1. he was using Izanagi on dumb shit like thrown shuriken. danzo is a smart guy and knows his combat skills theres no way he would logically waste a precious eye on such fodder things. it was plot to make danzo use up his ace cards so it would be in sasuke's favor
2. he couldnt use KA and solo neg diff right on the spot.
3. they made Danzo out of character. he had Sasky trapped several times and could have killed him at any point like here
but instead plot made danzo monologue instead of decapitate him like he normally would
4. Sasky got to use him companions Tobi and Karin. Karin gave him heals and was shouting directions the whole time plus she was good diversion and like piont 1 Danzo had to hold back cuz of Tobi. but Danzo helpers had to be fodderized by Tobito otherwise Fuu and Torune would help danzo. they were both good ninja and have excellent analyst skills as well as teamwork plus jutsu the would counter Sasky easy especially with Lord Danzo in the mix. so yet another unfair start
5. asspull hawk summon out of fecking nowhere. one of the biggest asspulls in the series but Sasky needed to be aerieally effective otherwise Lord Danzo would blow him off the bridge with his amazing wind style skills.
6. danzo wrecked Sasky susanoo. he split it up the back neg diff. he could have fired another air shot right there and cut Sasky in two but instead Sasky get more plot shield.
7. wind > lightning. his wind sword should have easily countered chidori sword but plot made it so danzo, a genius shinobi, didnt strike his chidori sword and then stab sasuke. then YEAH YOU GUESSED IT MORE KARIN HEALS
so if you take all this bs out of the picture danzo would manhandle sasky low med diff
