Stay away from it, you already spoiled yourself big time, its like knowing who is Tobi and who is behind Madara

He might've have spoiled it, but honestly if he doesn't know the details regarding ace's past, his father, and whatnot and why he died. I think he's good, since my brother managed to spoil it for me as well, I was on episode 30 I believe. regardless, I did enjoy the scene since I never knew the specific details about ace and his feelings, his past, you know the drift. it might not be the same for everyone but it certainly hasn't ruined the story.

lol WUT. Dude the guy called the OP an idiot for spoiling Ace's death, then I pointed out it's been spoiled already on any anime related site lol. And I'm not writing it off, obviously if I didn't consider re-watching I wouldn't of opened this thread XD. From my experience so far, I don't really like it. That's not saying it's a shitty series or anything, maybe I just haven't reached the good parts yet

Called the OP stupid ? why not ? he spoiled not himself but other people too, and this statement "it's been spoiled already on any anime related site lol." is even more stupid why ? why indeed.... i can't even.... believe someone can be this stupid, i can watch a new series without being spoiled despite going around anime related site,

you're probably reading all those stupid comments under the episode, which is a stupid thing to do since the people who post the comment is already finished watching the episode and now expressing their opinion about that episode and of course they're going to mention what happen, or probably you're just barge in a thread when where ppl are discussing an event from the manga when you have no idea what they're talking about.

*Read
"I know luffy's brother dies and i hear it gets good around that time"
After Marine ford the show is going down and coming back up at punk hazard, in other words this dude probably going around wikipedia and spoiled himself, or probably listening to the wrong person opinion about One Piece.

You have to live under a rock if you didn't know Ace died. I don't even One Piece and I know that.
OT: I was wondering the same thing earlier OP, people speak so highly of it but it got boring to me even before where you stopped.

yea lol i assumed everybody knew he died. so you wouldnt recommend it?

The arc you seemed to hate was filler anyway. Don not judge a series off of its filler XD

But ye, give it a go. Any questions on it feel free to drop me a message >_O

are you talking about the arc that i left out on or the arc that i skipped to?

Let's think about it logically. You made it all the way to around episode 100 and it never really did click with you, correct? If so, I'd probably say it isn't for you. Sure, many say the turning point of the series is Marineford, but that normally isn't when people say One Piece gets good. Honestly, that would be too long of a wait if it took that long to get good. Notable moments that usually people say decides if One Piece is for you are Arlong Park and/or Alabasta. If you did see flashes of One Piece being for you, then I would suggest sticking around until Alabasta before making a decision. If not, then simply drop it because it probably isn't for you.

Sidenote, actually I just checked and Alabast starts on episode 92, so I do suggest sticking around since you made it to the beginning of Alabasta and then make a decision. :)

but why ask if it's worth watching? what made you think that the answer could possibly be no?
was it the fact that it's the most successful manga in history?
or the fact that it has so many fans?

the title is just confusing and every time I see a thread asking about a series (any series) if it's worth it it just seems weird to me, why would it even exist if i wasn't worth it?

it's a q I wanted to ask in every past thread with a ''is x worth it'' this time I just happened to actually write the question down :D

You probably did not fully watch Albasta so you must continue where you left. And the filler you watched.... I know it's stupid.... It's a part of the Foxy pirates mini arc and it seems super random. When I watched the foxy pirates arc at first I felt it was a waste of an arc. But trust me once you read some more of One Piece you know the author is a genius and never lets stuff go waste. His story telling abilities are on a whole different level. So even if you didn't like the art that much, still continue cause One Piece has a great plot, excellent character development and meaningful fights, all presented beautifully with great detail by the author. And that's what a good manga is all about. :)

My bad, forget it. Thought you were on about another arc.
Although the arc you were talking about in your second paragraph is know to be one of the worst arcs One Piece has to offer U_U
