Most wasted villain potential: Sasori

One of the OG akatsuki members, took on a nation, really diverse, one shots 95% of NV, killed strongest kazekage w/o Iron Sand, brilliant, ruthless, his calm demeanor and disrespectful attitude made him a real likeable villain, even Deidara (who I think is the 4th strongest Akatsuki feat wise) said hes stronger than him, probably could beat Itachi 1v1, the list goes on forever. Had to take him out really early and with an a**pull cuz kishi realized he made him too OP to give Sakura development and a role in the series which was really dumb you could have used another akatsuki member at least smh Kishi.

But Sakura and Chiyo beating him was just to show how much Sakura had grown during the time skip. She was pretty bad ass in that fight.

They kinda did use the Akatsuki in the war. With that they showed other chars development like Choji, Shikmaru and so on.

Well, Kakashi is even more useless than Sakura right now, so... :|

I doubt Kishimoto actually hates Sakura, she just doesn't happen to be a reincarnation of some God-like person or have any magical eyes or a beast sealed in her.
She is the hard worker of the team and you know it.

That's a fact, yes. But if they had to fight right now Kakashi would be utterly useless while Sakura can still take some serious damage and be okay and has her monstrous strength.

Kakashi lacks defensive and offensive capabilities without his mangekyo.

Cut the wank. Latest chapter proved tired and sharingan less Kakashi can still react 3 times faster than Sakura can do. A hit to the vitals and Sakura die

Dunno where this disappointment is coming from, as for me, Sasori had one of the most impactful stories out of all Akatsuki members. I find it absolutely beautiful how he hesitated in the last moment and let his grandmother stab him with the puppets of his creation, creating a symbolic view, at the same time pointing at Sasori's humanity in the puppet shell, with the scene being reminiscent to what he had always desired, since the very core of his childhood...
To each their own I guess.
