Hell yeah it got the best villains characters and awesome fights ,the only thing that I didn't like about it is the main character is a kid but anyway it totally awesome and definitely deserve watching

at first it took me some time to get into but holly shiz is it good the 2011 version some good fights here and there amazing skills and action at first couldnt see why everyone loved it so much but i was wrong it lived up to its hype
2/10 for me. Didn't liked it at all. Watched it just to confirm whether it lives up to it's hype and that whether naruto really is it's rip-off as people say, but it was an utter BS. The only ****ing thing I found similar between Chunin exam and Hunter Exam is the ****ing word, "EXAM" !!...

kurapika is the last one in his clan and does have red eyes also wants to get revenge for his dead clan but that doesn't sound like anyone in naruto.....

EDIT - Also Sasuke isn't the last one of his clan, as there was Itachi and later Obito. Also Sasuke did get revenged while Kurapika later dropped the notion of revenge thanks to Gon, if I'm right.

WATCH IT! I started it nearly a week ago now and im on the chimera arc. I think episode 94.

It's a pretty good Battle Shounen, it starts off slow though.. but then the pace picks up really fast.. it's really enjoyable. The fights are awesome... you won't get bored with this.

It starts off slow and lame and kinda kiddy but then it gets so dark you would think it's Attack on Titan. The action is epic as hell and everything about it is epiiic. Watch and dont give up, keep watching.
You're a complete naruto wanker. There's much more similarities than that and I don't know why people even try refuting that "Naruto is not a rip-off/inspiration of HxH.", Kishi. HIMSELF said it in a interview that he's a fan of the series and it inspired him a lot. Anyways here are the similarities:
-Oro. = Hisoka
-Itachi = Illumi (FOR F*CK SAKE HISOKA & ILLUMI ARE TEAMMATES AND ITACHI & ORO. WERE "TEAMMATES" AT ONE POINT TILL ITACHI R@PED HIM AND KISAME FILLED IN. Which is the difference but still it's a similarity)
-Sasuke's goals are similar to Kurapika's
-Sasuke's abilities are similar to Killua's
-Kakashi is similar to Wing. Wing taught Gon/Killua the basics of nen and Kakashi taught Naruto/Sasuke the basics of Chakra
-Akatsuki is similar to the Phantom Troupe
-Sakura is the "Leorio" of the group but she's useless
-Both Gon and Naruto barely don't know their fathers and they're extremely powerful in their respective verse
-The shar. is pretty much an inspiration from the scarlet eyes
-Chunin Exam arc is similar to the Hunter exams arc.
-Naruto's tournament arcs shares slight similarities to the Heaven's arena arc. (inb4yousayit'sdonebeforesoitdoesn'tcount)
-Chaos at Konaha in part 1 Naruto can be inspired from the chaos at YorkNew city in HxH

OT: Watch the 2011 version, it's amazing.
No there's many. Ofc there's not much similarities with HxH and Shippuden but part 1 Naruto is a complete inspiration of HxH. I wouldn't call it a rip off cause Kishi adds his own twists to it but it's shares many similarities and that you can't deny.

Those are similarities and Kishi. just added his own twist to it. It's still a similarity. Please don't act stupid, Kishi. himself said he was inspired from HxH, so ofc there's plenty of similarities at least in Pre-TS Naruto.
