Hellbound Chronicles
Prelude
Two benighted silhouettes walk through the dark night in a dense forest, one of the figures resembles an angel-like body that was missing one wing, and the other one resembled an Elf, with long pointy ears, and shiny eyes. The Elf was carrying a body on his shoulder.
A sudden creak from behind them is heard, the two tenebrous figures look at eachother and the angel-like silhouette speaks...
"Chaos. Prophets foretell of its coming. Historians record its passing. But the only ones who can fully understand it are those who have survived its reign... and they are often few and far between."
As he ends his speech the elf-like silhouette replies firmly...
"We are not facing the prophecy here, you are too candid, brother."
The two bodies dissapeared into the darkness of the night, without saying a word to eachother anymore.

An old man, with long hair, and a thick beard, dressed in a blue robe comes into a room full of students, being upheld by a cane. The lights were off, he opened his palm and a relatively small globe appeared above his hand, glowing blue.
"There are six races in this world, each one is dominated by the will of dominating.
But, before getting too philosophical, I better explain what the main races are..."
Suddenly the globe turns into a rose-like symbol, that is floating above the old man's hand

"The human race currently has the highest dominion and the largest population, although they do not posses any special abilities, their ability to control almost any class is fantastic.Humans are well-balanced in all of their characteristics. "
The rose disperses, and a female, with pointy ears, and wings coming out of her hair appears on the old mage's hand...

"The Elves have slim and nimble bodies, long ears, and beautiful features. During the era of giants, among all creatures they held the most power. However, when the giants were destroyed, the power and influence of the Elves were also diminished.Compared to other races, Elves can hold their breath longer and are better able to jump from high places. Elves are wise and quick-witted. They are fast in attack, movement and casting speeds. They also have superior marksmanship skills and higher evasion ratings. However, their attack strength is inferior to that of other races."
As he finishes his speech, the symbol changes again, this time into a moon, with a dagger-like object passing through it...

"The Dark Elves were once part of the Elven tribes, but were banished after they learned black magic in order to obtain the power to fight Humans. They lost the battle, but continued to study the dark arts. Dark Elves have similar features to their Elven brethren, but are taller, have blue-gray skin, and silver hair. They follow Shilen, the goddess of Death.Their strenght and intellect are higher than most of the classes, which allows them to deal powerful strikes to the enemy that can cause..."
Someone breaks into the room...
"Master... they-they've got... him!"
An obese midget with yellow hair and a yellow-ish beard was barely breathing after he broke into the room.
"Ah, Roku! And here my students, is a Dwarf!" said the old man smiling.
"There is not time for this, master Ragnaroc! They took Ingwer!" replied the dwarf irritated.
"Oh, that is not good at all! I apologize, my students, you will have to study the races for yourselves!", Ragnaroc replied calmly.
Roku and Ragnaroc left the classroom in a hurry.
"We shall leave at once!" said Rag firmly.
"Wh-what about the council? We cannot leave without their approval!" Roku replied.
"... Who took him?"
"They go under the name Solstice Twelve."
The two pushed the giant doors of the town Giran and left the town, walking quickly to the docks.
Next Chapter: Chapter I - Solstice Twelve. The last two races are revealed!
*This is a Prelude Chapter.It does not pack any action, yet. And I will keep adding stuff about Lineage itself during the FanFic.
