No we like complex villain characters, the Akatsuki is one of the best villain groups because of their different personality and ideals

Only Nagato and Obito were the tragic type, Kaguya's reasoning still hasn't been completely explained (it doesn't look the tragic life type), though she sure as hell ain't completely evil, which is much better

Of course. A generic pure evil villain wouldn't fit with the central theme Kishi set up in this manga (solving things through understanding each other).

There are tons of mangas with villains that are just bad for the sake of it.
