Hi everybody, I like to, sometimes, read past chapters of bleach, and reading cahp. 249, something came into my mind.

In this chapter (page 16), Aizen shows Orihime Hougyoku in order to gain Ori's trust, so that he can ask her to help him when he needs it. In the next page, Orihime tries to analyze why did that happen, stating that she understood the nature of her powers now, and has a flashback of what Aizen said, regarding Ori's hability "to negate the very things that happen, and to anihilate events itself".

So, here is the big thing, What if Aizen's big plan was to make Orihime comprehend her powers, and at the same time, force everyone to get strong to fight him?

Why would he do that?, you may ask. The key is... the last arc. Aizen is reported to be the second most powerful shinobi after yammamoto, before Ichigo's power up, and excluding zero squad. So, there may be a posibility that, in his powerful state when he first touched the Hougyoku, he sensed somehow the quincies, and reacted to that, making this plan? But, as powerful as he is, he still is nothing compared to the big bad Quincy, Juha Bach.

So, as we have seen, Juha Bach was, at the beginning, a little black baby who could do literally nothing. Not able to see, or talk... So, if there were a way to turn him back, to put him in a previous state, the black baby state, he would no longer be a threat. Do we know something like that? Oh wait, we do! Orihime's power! But he is not alone, he has subordinates, who will fight till the death for him, how could we ever deal with something like that? With strong people.

My point is, what if all Aizen did, was to prepare Bleach universe to fight the quincies?
Aizen was mentioned again by the zero squad, saying that he is not as bad as the quincies, so that might be an indicator of a future redemption. Maybe all this did not steem from a pure intention from Aizen, but it can turn into something good.

What do you think?

If that ends up happening, it will be the greatest plot twist of all time.
Aizen will come back though, most likely end up helping Ichigo beat Juha.

Aizen is not a shinobi. :|

He is also much stronger than Yhwach, seeing as Aizen is immortal and a transcendent being, while Yhwach is just a powerful Quincy whose only feat is stealing Yamamoto's Bankai.

As for your theory on his true plan, I doubt it. He wanted Orihime's powers to extend the shelf-life of the Hogyoku.

Being transcendent does not make you stronger than someone who is not transcendent. Also just look at Yhwach nature and you will see that he is not "ordinary" quincy, so saying that he is just "powerful quincy" is pretty much invalid.

It was pretty clear that aizen wanted to cause havoc... not help. It's clear in 421 that he hated the spirit king. He would have probably used the uproar caused by the quincy to his advantage, just as he did with the ryoka incident.

Now. As for showing orihime the hogyoku. That was psychological, as if any resistance remained, she'd feel obligated to try and destroy it. This meant that no matter how much she wanted to escape, she couldn't with such a chance to stop people getting hurt further. Now this was most likely to trap ichigo and company in hueco mundo when they went to rescue her. Without her putting up much resistance, or maybe even telling them to leave till she can carry out her new personal mission.

I see no future plot based from that particular scene, unlesz hastily written in without much care, as occasionally happens with these hindsights kubo can add.

Being a transcendent generally means that you have surpassed the maximum capability of your previous state, and due to the Hogyoku being able to manifest the user's wishes, it could possibly increase Aizen's strength indefinitely.

I understand that Yhwach is not any Quincy, I am aware that he is the first Quincy and the father of the Quincy. Saying that he is a powerful Quincy would be more of an understatement, seeing as he could steal Yamamoto's Bankai. But looking at feats, he isn't much. Though seeing as he is capable of using every Quincy ability that he has allocated to his Sternritter, along with Yamamoto's Bankai and Vollstandig without Bankai, that is pretty frightening.

Though I'd say Aizen has the edge, simply because of Kyouka Suigetsu and he is incredibly skilled at psychologically manipulating and breaking his opponents.

Yes, but key word is your previous self. Very unlikely, Hogyoku already abandoned him once.

He didn't fought yet, so you can't say that "he isn't much". About potential in growing, i would go with him instead of Aizen. He absorb soul and their strength and it's not just sternritters, many other shinigamis are also affected.

By Aizen's words, he don't have Kyouka Suigetsu anymore, it's stil unclear how was he able to trick Bach, we will have to wait and see how he done that.

Yes, I said previous state. The Hogyoku's ability is, as stated before, is to manifest the owner's desires. If it really does that, why should it not just increase strength indefinitely? The Hogyoku only abandoned Aizen because he was weakened so much by Ichigo's Mugetsu.

I'm not stupid, I know how strong Yhwach is, but we cannot gauge his true strength until we see more of him in battle. I guess what I'm trying to say is that Yhwach is definitely incredibly strong, but we haven't seen enough from him to know whether or not he is stronger than Aizen.

I was not aware that Yhwach could absorb the souls of Shinigami, if you can bring me a scan to prove this statement, I will step down on that part.

True, he does not possess Kyouka Suigetsu. But his right arm fused with it, and it dissolved as we saw in his fight with Ichigo. However, we don't know if he passively gained the ability to use Kanzen Saimin without KS, so thats a bit of a loose case.

Ok, but what made you think that it can't repeat again. Aizen being weakened by someone.

He is introduced as character that is equal to Yamamoto and he got far stronger since then. Why would you think that he wouldn't be strong as Aizen?

The fact that nobody has surpassed FGT Ichigo in strength, and seeing as Ichigo's Mugetsu was the only attack capable of weakening Hogyoku Aizen, we cannot say for sure whether anyone can at least be on par with FGT Ichigo.

Because Aizen's strength isn't only in KS and other abilities, it is his mind as well. Aizen is the smartest character in Bleach, second only to Urahara. If two men went and clashed, one was stronger and the other was smarter but weaker, who would win? Unless Yhwach's power is capable of completely overwhelming Aizen and his mind, then Aizen is still capable of beating him.

I've managed to get a hold of the MS translations of those pages, it seems only those who possess pieces Yhwach's soul, or in other words Quincy powers, will have their powers and souls absorbed.

There is no fact that Ichigo in FGT is strongest.

Smartness don't make overall strength. I can say same for Bach, he is from what we know, third smartness in Bleach (look at his attitude and strategies) and he even has potential to be higher in that term.

What? Hashwalth say same in both translation. ["All the sternritters and all the shinigami"] Shinigami also offer their soul to Bach, when they died, otherwise Jugram wouldn't mention them in the first place.

By the time Aizen had achieved the 3rd transformation with the Hogyoku, we could call him the strongest in Bleach. Until Ichigo's arrival of course.

By 3rd form I mean this.

Indeed, but intellect can be a component of a person's strength. I'd say that Urahara and Aizen's deadliest weapon are their mind, otherwise they wouldn't be so powerful. As I said, it is hard to put a definite answer on Yhwach's strength, as we have seen him obliterate a weakened Yamamoto and overpower Bankai Ichigo, who was weakened and was weaker than him to begin with. What I'm trying to say is, we cannot say he is smarter and/or stronger than Aizen and Urahara until we see more feats. HOWEVER, I cannot stress this enough, I know that Yhwach is incredibly smart being able to coordinate and manoeuvre his Sternritter during the war.

I'll elaborate on the scans then. As you know, Yhwach has the ability to distribute pieces of his soul to other beings, and thus giving them their Quincy powers. When that person dies, their soul and powers return to Bach. The 'pieces of his soul' are those who possess Quincy powers. Yhwach's Sternritter and Ichigo were the ones that were definitely referred to in that sentence.

1. We "could"? Maybe at that time.. I strongly disagree now.

2. Ok, whatever, you have point, your opinion, i respect ;)

3. He give "piece of his soul" to whoever he touch. And that power back to him when that person die. Difference is that he just insert "little" part of his soul to person he touch and to Quincies he give letter, whole new level of power.

Badkarma from Mangahelpers say:
Haschwalth:陛下の魂の欠片は既に
Fragments of His Majesty’s soul
Haschwalth:先の戦いによってこの瀞霊廷全域にばら撒かれている
Were scattered throughout all of Seireitei during the last battle

"during the last battle" it pretty much mean that many shinigamis are affected. You also can see many shinigamis on panel during Hashwalth's conversation.

Is it possible that Aizen is already on his way to the soul palace? Lol

Or would he wait to have the other guys go up first to be safe?
